any of you guys experiencing wheel hop?

I'm not either. But my Wifes Mustang GT hops like a bunny rabbit. Need subframe connectors I guess or supercharger.

I have experienced a little wheel hop, but I wasn't hitting it really hard either.

Never experienced that in my Fox body. Those that have taking the quad shocks off get the wheel hop.

GTO's had this problem. Drag bags seem to have fixed it.

Roads were wet this morning from rain. I hit it from a stop and got serious wheel hop, I had to back off.
TC was on.

Nearly every car with IRS that I know of has had wheel hop, even the Vettes, thats why im asking. I got rid of the wheel hop on mine BTW. I know some of the aussie guys with the same chassis had wheel hop issues, some of them after a few thousand miles after break-in.

For those who don't have wheelhop, you just haven't driven it right yet. Either you haven't accelerated hard enough, or you accelerated too hard and spun the tires. It's when you hit that middle ground that you'll visit the wonderful world of wheelhop.


I've heard they're better than the GTOs, but it's still there.

My quad shocks are off, but it just carries the front tires now ;)

I don't think I've seen it. But to be honest, I can barely tell when I'm spinning the tires. This car is so quiet and smooth, it's amazing.

Havn't noticed a drop of wheel hop yet.

and believe I already own the most thrashed G8 in the country.

Damn after seeing your G8 auto x, I'm seriously leaning towards ****caning the idea of pedderizing my SRT and go for pedderizing the GXP G8 when it's available.
