So the wife took our niece to Lancaster today for a dance competition and managed to get a 3 inch screw in a RSA... Screw punctured right at the edge of the tread. Her brother put a plug in it but she says it will need a tire before she drives home from Baltimore tomorrow. :(

Anyone happen to have a RSA or a good set of 18's you are selling near Baltimore?

Heck anyone have a set of 19's they wanna get rid of? :driving:

After spending $700 last week to put new hubs on my truck this one hurts :cursin:

I have a set of RSA 19's with about 2500 easy miles I'd like to sell - pm if interested...

shouldn't have any problem with the plug. I've been driving for over a year with one in my tire.

it;s too bad i just saw this, I live in Baltimore, and my old RSAs with 300 miles on 'em still sit at my old shop cause i switched over to Bridgestones. FYI, you can't drive around with a sidewall plug or you;re waitin for a hurtin

Ended up getting two GY GTs on the back at NTB on saturday out by Golden Ring. Keeping the 3rd RSA for a spare (now I need to get another 18" wheel). Ended up paying $420 for the pair installed. More than I wanted to spend but most people didnt have our sizes in stock in anything other than an off brand or summer only tire...

You should have just bought 4 Eagle GT's, I have those tires on my G8 and they are fantastic. The RSA's suck big time, you're better off selling 2 of them and keeping one for a spare wheel.

I'll be getting two more GTs in the near future but its been a tough couple weeks as I had to put new hubs on my equinox which were almost $800 just for the parts. Your review of the GTs is one reason I bought them!

I understand where you're coming from, that was a hefty repair bill for the new hubs. I'm glad my review helped you with the tire purchase.

In the sidewall like the OP?
