Anybody in Bergen County or close to it with a M6 GXP want to meet up. I need to compare sound of transmission at low RPM and throw out bearing. I think I might have an issue with excessive noise and want to compare before I bitch to the dealer and they don't have any M6's in stock to test. Will take about 5 minutes.

Thanks, if no one local responds I might just take you up on the offer. Where abouts are you located?

Hey Guys.. I live in Wharton NJ. I just bought web domain names: NJG8.com & NJG8CLUB.com & PONTIACG8CLUB.com

I want to start a G8 club.. and I think it can be done! Not looking to start a BOARD! This site is a great place. I would like a place where people could send Vids and Pics of there ride and meet up a shows.

What would be a cool name for a club in Northern NJ?

This is not related to my post. Please start your own post on this topic. I am trying to compare notes on transmission issues with other area GXP 6M owners. Thank you.

Has nothing to do with being friendly or not. I just want to keep this post on topic and uncluttered. No need to take offense as none was implied. Start a new post and I am sure you will find interested parties including myself. Also you might want to contact the GTO oweners club of N.J. as they are quite helpful and might be able to provide some insight.

I'm in Union County. I also get funny sounds from transmission area at low RPM, high load. To me it sounds more like exhaust rubbing on something. I've asked the dealer and they've told me that it sounds very much like the gear chatter in the GTO transmissions and is probably "normal".
