I go to Connecticut every once in awhile and just wondering now that I have my Radar Detector mounted if I should be worried about the no detector law. Do you guys use them?

CT doesn't have a no detector law. That expired many many many years ago.


Had mine in my GP, haven't really used it in the G8; just on my way to and from FL last year.

Nope none here. I do plan on getting a custom K40 put in one day though as i often drive on I-95 opposite traffic and have a lead foot!

I use my V1 in CT all the time - even before the law was rescinded. They used to have signs at the entrance to the state, stating that radar detectors are illegal. But like Slizzo said, that law was no longer law at least 10 years ago so no worries.

You can use radar detector in CT. I had one in the past.

they're only illegal in VA and DC

The K40 is a P.O.S..

Ran tests on a cheap laser gun, and it couldn't even block it.

There are plenty of vids on Youtube, too.
