Those times from ATCO (New Jersey) will not be representative of what a stock G8 runs. From what I've been reading the stock G8s are running high 13s @ 101 - 104 mph (on average). What elevation? 101 is a little lower than what most mags/people are getting. Also, doesn't look like it's quite the best-prepped "track". Can't wait to see what one does with some traction and a little brake-torquing! As for the autocross, the G8 looks like it would hand a stock GTO it's butt! Much flatter with quicker responses than a GTO. I don't see why not. The air wasn't that good this past Tuesday when this G8 was run. But I can't attest to this G8 running these times. I watched 4 lanes of street cars run twice and I never saw a G8 run, or even saw a G8 at the track that day. So who knows! Im pretty sure the elevation was close to sea level and the air was fairly cool that day. Maybe mike will chime in with specifics. Steve | ||
