Alright, RT Tires and wheels can machine the center hub to the correct size and make gto or bmw wheel work on g8, he sells a wheel called rough racing. I have copied the site for you to view.

I'm thinking 19-9.5 rear and 18-8 up front or maybe just staggered 18's, you have a much better tire selection in 18's.

Not my cup of tea. But, there should be no problems bolting those up. Both the BMWs & GTOs can run the same types because of the same bolt pattern. Both of those cars center bore holes are larger than the G8, so no interference.

gto, what did you think of the status wheels. the studs on the g8 are 14 mm and the gto is 12. I don't know if the gto will accept that stud.

The hole itself is physically large enough to take the G8's 14mm stud. BUT, do not use the factory lug nuts for those wheels. The reason why is the seat difference. You can find chrome lug nuts that will fit just fine with the correct seat. I don't expect that many wheel companies are going to take the stud size difference into account. For example, GM full size trucks & SUVs have 14mm studs. But, older Nissan & Toyota trucks have the same bolt pattern, but use 12mm studs. Unless the wheel's offset becomes a problem, most companies will build one wheel for all of those different trucks.

gto, are you heading over to little rock for the hot rod power tour? we will be there either with our short bed or the new g8 if I come up with some wheels by then. I'll see if I can come up with set of aftermarket bmw staggered wheels. thanks for the info. I would also like to lower it in the rear, I'm goint to check eibach to see what they offer. I'll probably drop it all the way around. I did an 1 3/4 on my 300.
see ya

The Power Tour isn't until June. I have someone who may be interested in my GTO. So, if I go, it will be in my Shelby Dakota. It needs work, but I've seen small photos & captions of people's cars that got damaged on Tour. Plus, if my truck doesn't get into the magazine, I won't cry about it. :whine:
