I'm thinking that I'll want to keep my exhaust semi stealthy but I do want more performance, so what's the best performance muffler and what's the best quiet performance muffler.
I've always been a fan of Borla.

Borla is great but way overpriced!
Magnaflow is the best for performance without being ridiculously loud.

I second that! Just got the Magnaflow axle back on my car and LOVE IT! Still breakin the mufflers in, but it is by no means ridiculously loud by any means. And by god you can tell its a V8 now :D
Thanks again S.F.!

Another vote for Magnaflow. That's what I got on my Mustang GT and I am very satisfied with it. Quiet at idle and sounds like muscle when you step on it. Corsa touring series should also be on the same level as the Magnaflows too I think. I'd stay away from Borlas. I know 3 guys that replaced their Borla systems(Stinger series) because they got loud and annoying after a short period of time. 2 of those 3 got Magnaflow systems now and the other one has a Bassani. My 2 cents.
@gbcop: Cool! Could you please post up a sound clip?

Magnaflow for the win. I had 40" of straight through Magnaflow mufflers on my Chevy Avalanche (one 22" and one 28", both in series) and the vehicle was whisper quiet and hella quick (the blower helped with that).

Corsa is looking for a development car and their touring setups are usually pretty quiet. They have sound clips on their website.

I'll be watching to see what comes out. I want the car quiet enough not to be annoying under regular driving. I want people to go WTF?! whenever I feel the need to kick all the horses at once.

TO me this is a quiet system.....later I will probally change it out...for whatever makes the most power ...from headers all the way back...without interior drone..( i think something like that will come out soon) but heres just rear mufflers replaced on mine

Remove the resonators (the big dual and the bullets) and those Flows wont be quiet anymore!
Longtube headers with Flowmasters or Spintechs = ear shattering loud.
