Is it worth it for me to buy someones G8 GT muffler takeoffs? What the internal difference between my V6 mufflers and GT mufflers.

I don't think so IMHO. Don't know about internals except the GT's may be physically larger.

And surely the GT guys wouldn't want you to disgrace them there mufflers on a V6. And you will probably hear "if you want GT mufflers you should have bought a GT" so I'll go ahead and say it.

All us GT owners who installed aftermarket exhaust would love all the V6 guys to put GT mufflers on. Buy them off us. I have a set if you want. Same as putting GT rims on V6 or GXP rims and bumpers and diffusers on a GT. Do what ever floats your boat. Dont think it will increase performance any, just change the look.

i kinda like the v6 ones better the mighty V8 ones
