Walker Pontiac has a 888 for sale I looked at yesterday #3xx. The mark up states adjusted market value. $5000.00, truly sad.

On another note I was at the Dayton auto show Thursday and needless to say the G8 they had there was a poor example of a car. The fit and finish was ok the glove box was loose and did not fit the lines of the dash. When closing the driver door there was this distinctive rattle.

I hope people looking at that were not discouraged by things that I noticed. I would have expected a better G8 to be chosen to display.

HOLY CRAP! My local dealer marked it up only $2500. Well, those things are beat too. Did it still have all the knobs inside?

Give it time. When I bought my Magnum in 2004, it was common for the dealers to tack on $3000-$5000. In late 2006, you could get one for invoice fairly easily. If you're not in a hurry, wait a year and I bet you'll get a good deal on the G8.

With "employee pricing for all" going on now through 9/2 wonder if those same dealers will honor the national sale or if a phone call to Pontiac hotline will need to be made.

The Walker Pontiac 888... Was it the metallic grey 2008 model? If so, they've had that for sale since early April. I shopped there when looking for my car and they wanted $5000 over MSRP on that model, plus $2000 over MSRP for all other G8 GTs on the lot.

I told them I wasnt interested in paying over MSRP and went up to Reichard Pontiac where they treated me like royalty. I was out the door under $30k with the premium package.

Drive over to Columbus, I do not think any of the dealers here are pulling that crap.
