I have an annoying rattle, result of vibrations caused by my new magnaflow
Should I ask dealer to take a look, or the shop that installed the exhaust ?

If the exhaust drone is causing the rattle I think you would just be asking for trouble by having a dealer look at it. If they see your headers they may do more than just deny your rattle claim.

my service advisor said if i have a problem on my exhaust after putting a catback on, she'll charge me if it's due to the catback...
i'd take it to the shop who installed.

+1 on going back to installation shop. They will be able to run down the source of the rattle in no time.
Even when a performance shop installed my turbo-back exhaust on my Dogde Ram, it rattled, and they really couldn't figure it out, so I went to my muffler shop, and they had to loosen all the brackets and adjust everything. Now, no clanging and banging!!

My car developed a rattle after the exhaust install too. I had to slightly adjust some of the plastic moulding on the center stack that was vibrating at certain RPM ranges. Basically just poked it with my finger until ifound out what was touching what, then dripped a drop of super glue between them to make them one. No more rattle.
I hope it is something like that not your actual exhaust. Metal on metal rattles always cause damage.

Not ALWAYS....
Maybe you'll be lucky and it's heatshield vs. pipe...

I'd say that a lot of people may get some contact between the floor pan brace plate and the exhaust. You may want to look there first. Place a 1' wood piece between the brace and teh pipes when tightening everything up and then remove it when finished. It'll help guarantee that you have plenty of clearance.
