: June Incentives... Just as weird as I expected...
Nino@gaypontiac 06-04-2009, 09:20 AM 1500 consumer cash
2500 "customer appreciation" Must own a GM vehicle to get it
500 dealer cash
Only the dealer cash can be stacked with the 0% for 60 or 2.9% for 72 and the customer appreciation cannot be stacked with any other private offers. (such as the spring car care for 750)
Looks like I picked a good weekend to go on vacation LOL
RedWings 06-04-2009, 10:00 AM You'd think they would offer more then last month right?
:slap:<--GM
mongosG8 06-04-2009, 10:18 AM Very surprised to see that they are offering less. Looks like I will wait until July or just say screw it.
Nino do you think they will have some better deals in the future again?
Does it matter what kind of GM car you have and year?

A dealer called me earlier today and asked if I currently owned a GM. I said yes and he said (talking to himself): "Ok customer appreciation any year/any model". SO my guess is it doesn't matter.

Cool. I will buy my friends wifes old Chevy Cav for 7-800 bucks clean it buff it out and get the 2500, plus trade it in..lol!!! I will than trade my 02 Nissan Maxipad with it considering Im having a hard time selling it. lol!! That might just work for me. Man what ****y luck Im having finding a G8 for a decent deal.
Nino@gaypontiac 06-04-2009, 10:29 AM Doesn't matter what year or model. But they are going to be fairly strict on "proof" that it is your car. I.E. valid registration at your address.
mongosG8 06-04-2009, 10:32 AM That should not be a problem. as long as the registration has my info right? I might be able to make this work.
Wish I lived closer to you Nino would be so much easier than dealing with these guys up hear!
benalbright 06-04-2009, 10:36 AM Hey Nino,
I received a voucher in the mail about a month ago giving me $750 on a G8 (or Saab or Truck, $500 on most other GM vehicles). It appeared to be a customer appreciation thing. It runs through the end of June. Do you think I can could stack that with the new customer appreciation discount or did they just nulify the $750 with the new deal?
Thanks.
Ben

What about the GM CARD ROUND UP BONUS ?
bradG8 06-04-2009, 12:42 PM D*mn! I'm going on vacation with Nino. This sucks.
Stay tuned...all left handed folks born in July...except on an even numbered year that had two full moons, and born after 7 pm...get a $500 discount if you print this coupon four times and dance like a monkey.
Geez.
josh_4184 06-04-2009, 01:22 PM Why does GM make the rebates so complicated, they "should" just offer 5,000 cash back or 0% or even half the rebates with 0% and call it a day, no all of this BS, where rebate A can't be combined with rebate B unless you are related to Obama , or know a guy who knows a guy. Come'on GM get your Shi$ together

Nino@gaypontiac 06-04-2009, 01:46 PM LOL, more official (non-officially announced) news...
All remaining 09' and 2010 Pontiac orders are CANCELLED!
Word on the street (and from GM) is to not hold our breath for any 2010 models unless they were already built.
Party is over.
I'm having my 1 of 1898 plaque made for my GXP. :p
May have to add a Bright orange Solstice GXP Coupe to the stable as well. ;)
MG8GT 06-04-2009, 02:28 PM I love how GM has already started marketing the "new GM" as a more efficient, stronger, better company. I guess this makes Pontiac, Saab, Hummer, and Saturn owner's dirty, old and out of fashion?

mikemaj82 06-04-2009, 04:24 PM so can you still use the topped off card earnings with these incentives or no?
VRUNNER 06-04-2009, 04:34 PM Has anyone visited Pontiac's web site?
According to that the 2500.00 is stackable with 0%. Found two dealers that verified it and will offer it, four dealers that said what Nino posted and one that said the Memorial day incentives have been extended till the end of June.
AAAHHH YES THE NEW GM...:slap:
PMD G8 06-04-2009, 07:10 PM I'm having my 1 of 1898 plaque made for my GXP.
Actually, I am interested in getting one made as well. There was a guy over on LS1gto.com that was making them out of hard plastic. I'm sure if we contact him we could probably get him to fab something up. Although it would be nice to know a breakdown of the cars built.
This is what the one looked like on my GTO.

Shinzon 06-04-2009, 09:21 PM dude the pontiac website says the following.....
G8 GTŪ
$1,500 Cash Allowance and $2,500 Owner Appreciation Cash*
OR

Request a Quote
Model Overview

beach 06-04-2009, 09:42 PM so can you still use the topped off card earnings with these incentives or no?
GM card cash is unconnected to other incentives and can be used in conjunction with anything and everything except for official supplier/employee pricing deals.

They fixed the site. I printed a copy this afternoon. I will try to get it scanned and posted. Figured it was too good to be true.
Plus this is exactly what I thought would happen. They are focusing on current owners as they feel they will be the most likely to purchase. Chrysler did the same thing. I wouldn't expect to see anything different while they are in BK.
cdb95z28 06-04-2009, 10:43 PM I checked out the regional incentives link at exclusivegmoffer.com. This is the GM credit union discount website. For Pennsylvania and my county (Cambria) the rebate is $2000 Total Cash Allowance + $2500 Owner Appreciation Cash= $4500. Finance rate shows only 0%/60M + No cash.
I've been researching a G8 GT for the past week.....drove one last Saturday, damn nice........time to pull the trigger.

Regarding using GM card with GMS and supplier deals -- not true. It depends on which GM card you have. I have the extended family card and get GMS. I am able to use ALL my earnings on a GM vehicle. I received an additional $2000 bonus recently and think I'll be using it soon! :driving:
GXPaycheck 06-05-2009, 05:00 PM Tried that link. Said page removed.

I just checked it again, still the same as yesterday...$2000+$2500

Correct. I should have been more specific. Depending on the type of GM card, it can, but for most it cannot.
mikemaj82 06-06-2009, 11:43 AM does anyone know anything about a Lease to Buy rebate? Is this something that is always in effect, or does it come and go like other rebates?
TechKnow 06-08-2009, 12:36 PM does anyone know anything about a Lease to Buy rebate? Is this something that is always in effect, or does it come and go like other rebates?
Are you referring to the "current Lessees or buyers" incentive? If so, that just comes and goes, but currently not available. All GM leases are lease with buy option; at least all of my GM leases were that way...
mikemaj82 06-08-2009, 03:33 PM I am currently leasing my G6. If I turn it in and buy a G8, do I get the lease-to-buy rebates?
4me2drv 06-08-2009, 08:49 PM It's so strange that I was able to walk right into the dealership in Slidell, LA and get $7,000 off the sticker price without even one sentence said, cause I was given that quote via email. Why wouldn't everyone be able to get at least $5k off, if it was so easy for me to get $7k off? And that was before they announced that Pontiac was dead. I'm pretty sure it was GM rebate $3,000, Dealer discount $2,500, Customer cashback $500 and $1,000 GM certificate (the certificate expired the day I bought it)....and this was the middle of April.
Was I really just that lucky? :driving:
mikemaj82 06-08-2009, 08:55 PM well, basically all you got off was with the rebates. They didn't take anything off the MSRP which is not too good. Right now I could walk in and get $2500 loyalty, $1500 cash, $500 dealer cash, $2000 GM card points = $6500 on top of whatever they take off the MSRP for me. Usually it's between $1800-$2200.

But you have to own a GM to get the $2,500 GM loyalty discount.......I didn't. Plus I have no GM card points either. No difference to me how the price is done......as long as I only paid $27k for a $34k car.
Nino@gaypontiac 06-09-2009, 10:23 AM 1500 consumer cash 2500 Owner appreciation 500 dealer cash
Only the 500 can be used with 0%.
All rebates can be stacked otherwise.
