If you're gonna get one locally in Fresno, there were only 5 left on the lot the other day.
Two GXPs, one GT, a Firehawk, and a used V6.

I saw those. They're a nice looking car. I'm just waiting. My wife's Saturn is finally paid off. We'll wait a little while and go for a G8 or Lexus IS or similar at a great price.


Does this board have a thread for central valley? We just kept one thread going on the ls1 site. I guess we range from Modesto to Bakersfield, but only met up with Hanford/Lemoore & Fresno/Clovis GTOs. It'll be cool to combine.

I wouldn't mind finding a used 09.5 G8 GT ealry next year at Carmax or something like that. I dont think we'll buy brand new since we're not quite ready yet. My GTO was brand new, but I rushed into it.

I bought my G8 GT used too. Saved a boatload of cash that way.

hey Todd, you have interesting cruises. I'm following you on your blog. I am not going on the goatrun this year. I was planning on last year but bailed out 2 months before. It sounds amazing, but driving to Vegas is something I try not to do. I think next month I'll be driving to SJ/SF and taking the GTO. I wonder if there will be any g2g around the 18th.

Just did a cruise up through the Fresno side, through the park, exited on the Visalia side. Carved up the corners, stopped and had lunch at Hospital Rock. Was a good time. :)

I met a guy at the Del Taco by Kitahara, he flew in from Sand Diego with his wife and young child to pick up a black GXP (about a month ago) and drove it home. He said it was the only one he could find!

Get that GXP now, or don't count on finding one at all.

I'm driving an MGM with the 18" wheels. All stock, not even tint yet.
I live out in the Sunnyside district, and don't make it out north a whole lot anymore, as my job is near Jensen and Maple.

I've only managed to get the "G8 wave" from one guy in a black GT. Everybody else has looked at me like I'm nuts. :drink:

Hi Hale, just signed up on this forum. tried the GTO 18's on my G8 today and looked good. I think I am gonna lowball that guy with the tires on craigslist,, put them on the GTO wheels and see how they work on the G8 (just to be different)

I just took a drive up to Sky Harbour! It was niceee! I had to go up there for work.

Yeah! I love that drive!! I took a drive with the EuroSunday crew up through tollhouse I think. It was craZy! About 7 8 cars. viper acr c63 my car my cousins m3 a db7 s4 gti golf and a 60s mustang. Crazy fun!

Fresno guys, you should get in touch with your local GTO community. The NorCal GOATs (mostly SF Bay guys & gals) have been very welcoming of the G8's.

You LA guys know how to have a cruise. Your G8 get together events are epic compared to the G8 gtg's out here. Thankfully the GTO crowd is always welcoming of a G8 tag along for their cruises/gtg.

On a side note this is going to be the first time I've been in fresno since I used to date a cheerleader who attended Fresno state. Damn that was ten years ago. I'm getting old lol

so we r @ around 35 cars going so far i cant wait not gunna lie, thare should be around 10 of us meeting in Fresno spot in the morning then well head to Modesto we need to leave by 8:45am!

first time visiting the G8board since deciding not to buy a G8. But I spotted a nice black G8 this morning turning south on Van Ness from herndon. Black rims and looked like a younger (20s) person.

Spotted a Red GT at a wedding last Saturday, at NewCov in Fresno... anybody on here?

I just called Kitahara and talked to Michael about a "new" G8 GT. They have three that have 3,000 miles on them, but have never been registered, so they are saying that they are still "new" cars.

They are not willing to drop to my price point, so it looks like I am truly looking for a used one.

Spotted a Liquid Red G8 GT in Fresno today on hwy 99 north on my way up to Sacramento. Exchanged waves. Nice ride, if your on here. I remember the LP number easy to remember a custom plate.

Hey Fresno area G8 owners, how are you guys doing? Any meets in the works? I was thinking about getting the SLP Loudmouth Axleback exhaust.....what do you guys think? I wanted a "local" opinion as I know I can post that in other places of the forums.

I would also like to hear from you Fresno guys. I'm in Sonora which is a short drive(with radar detector assistance of course)from Modesto. Let me know next time somethings going down.:)
