Has anyone done an exhaust mod and been disappointed at the change in exhaust note when the AFM kicks in? Is there a noticable change in the exhaust note?

My son put a single chamber Flowmaster on his Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi, with dual turn-downs at the rear of the muffler. It sounds great until the MDS kicks in and then it sounds awful. Just curious as to how it sounds on the G8.

I'm also posting this over in the Lounge section - since we don't have an exhaust-specific section.

I have just 2 chamber flows on mine..and u can just hear a slight change in pitch when crusing in 4 cyl mode...nothing thats bad in my opinion....
