So I was just looking around eBay and found this. I'd personally rather reprogram the ECU, over having another chip sending signals to override something.
What's your opinion?

I've got a bridge just south of the metroplex. I am willing to let it go for $2k

I used to laugh at all of these, but now that the G8 has been tuned for ~30hp more and 2-3mpg more.. I'm not sure. Then again, it's a $20 "chip" that you install yourself rather than a $500 (?) tune done by a professional.

Most of the time they are some sort of resistor form from radio shack that do absolutely nothing.

In a word? Fraud.

But I love this part:
Extends the life of engine belts by reducing engine RPMs
People are still falling for these?

Agreed, this is a scam, BUT if GM is really going to deny warranty claims for people that have "tunes", as some people are saying, then an add on box, like JETChip or similar is the only way to go if you want to keep your warranty.

Well yeah, if you do nothing then you lose nothing. Buying that item off of eBay amounts to nothing. Well, except to empty your wallet.
