I thought of something today, I hope the G8 avoids the stupid square "GM" silver badge that graces most new GM cars. The GTO avoided it, will the G8 as well?

I assume Holden doesn't use the GM badges overseas, so hopefully they'll forget to slap it on when they bring it over.

It's on everything here...so look for it as a dealer installed item.;)

I'm betting it will be there. If it is placed right, it might look nice. Being a GM fan, I will proudly display it.

But a hot hairdryer and a little pulling will remove it. I have removed dozens of badges in the past.

It didn't show up on the 2006 GTO when it showed up on every other GM vehicle from the same model year, so who knows.

Simple solution - Debadge that Beitch.

Just got back from the auto show.... Drool and half. I want one. No GM badge on that one of course.

First thing to come off will be the dealer sticker on the back (scratch that, tell them to not put it on). Second would be the GM sticker. You don't see a Dodge with a D/C badge, or a Mini with a BMW decal on it... How about a Mazda with a Ford badge. I could go on. What's next, Good year decals above the wheels? Next thing you know the car will look like it belongs in Nascar :)

i wasn't on my 06 Trailblazer SS, but it was on my wifes 05 G6

Hmmm, I thought they didn't start putting it on vehicles until 2006.

They "designed" it into some vehicles before they went nationwide with it. Since it is supposed to be such an image builder I wonder why it is not on Holdens.

Those little badges are a bitch to get off. I took them off the wifey's C6. Popping the squares off was easy, but removing the sludge that they used for glue took forever.
