Just bought my G8 GT two days ago. Has anyone come across heat coming from there G8 Gt interior vents. The heat is off, the thermostat is turned all the way to coldest position, but i feel heat coming out. Normal?

I have experienced this before in my 08 GT. Pretty sure it is just the heat of the engine. Most noticiable when it is cooler outside right? Plus, it is not like it is blowing out of the vents, but you just feel the warm air.

I found that if I run the AC for maybe 10-20 seconds with temp set in the 60s, then turn it off, the air coming through dash vents remains cool for a while. The cooler the weather, the longer it lasts. Doesn't last long when outside temps are at or above 78-80, for example, but when cooler it keeps the interior fresh & comfy without sapping mpg results to keep the AC on. Leaving AC off also makes more hp available for fun!
