I have been lurking in the other two threads for a get together in Houston, and it seems there is a decent amount of interest. Since I have not found any thread setting a date I figured I would get the ball rolling for one.

Date: June 27th Saturday
Time: 5pm
Place: Hooters @ US290 (see link below)

I talked with the manager and he is going to allow us to meet there. He mentioned that he would block off parking spots. In case you are allergic to Hooters, there is a Joe's Crab Shack, Denny's, and TGIF nearby. Plus a Tinsel Town Theater to catch a movie before or after.

Pass the word. Looking forward to seeing all the G8's, and meeting the owner too ;)

I cruised by there around 8ish coming back from work to get some stuff from the office on Hollister. Saw a white hot gxp, MGM gt, and i believe a liquid red. I would of stopped by but working since 3am drained me. I'll try to catch you all next time when im actually completely off.

Houston is a bit of a drive from Abilene, but thanks the invite p71. Plus it was my Wife's Bday on the 27th.
