Well we just picked the wife's car up, and I'm lovin' it already! Car is really strong for a slighly overweight untuned car.

Well the only comparison we have is to a 00 Grand Am GT that clicks, rattles, squeaks, pings, etc. etc.:)

That said it rode beautifully on the way home (about 60 miles) and was as smooth as can be.

Comfort was nice, as these cars have a ton of room so nothing negative can be said about that, the seats contour nicely. I personally don't like the twisty knob you have to use to recline it, but it'll do!

Performance wise it's really strong like I said 1st, but my discrepancy would be the transmission and its "granny" shifts. But that can be tuned out from Vector MS.

All in all I love it, it's going to give my wife and I plenty of nice road trips. It's also a lot more convenient considering it's a four door compared to her old two door, and with our baby loading and unloading a car seat is so much better now!

I don't beleive there is such a thing as an ugly G8! Best lookin' car on the road. Of course, I might be somewhat biased. :p

no not too much road noise. we only live about a 1/4 mile down the street off the hwy, w/ 4 dips in between so you can only go about 10-15 mph down it though. On the highway though, is a different story. I was actually whispering to my wife, because in my car you have to speak in almost a yell, so this is basically unchartered conversational territory for us!

Nice! I replaced my wife's red 2-door Grand Am GT (1999) with a red G8 GT and we're loving it as well.

I was wondering....how does the black metallic look? Does the metallic really show? I have a black G8 GT coming in but I haven't been able to see what the black metallic looks like. Thanks!:confused:
