No personal experience with these since I coming from the Ford side of things but several buddies that have fast vettes use 21st Century

Its no wasteland. There are a lot of shops and unfortunately several are willing to take your $ and give you sub-par work.

Simple Quick in Benbrook is a great shop. I used 3 other shops in the area for my Camaro and SQR is where I'll remain as long as Daniel owns it

Now if you have rear or manual trans mods in mind go to Texas Drivetrain Performance. Jason is top notch.

Friend of of mine had his ZR1 done at LG and it was a disaster. RPM in Lewisville had to replace the block and get him going again. From what my friend tells me, RPM is outstanding. I can vouch that his ZR1 was a beast: 500+ RWHP, no forced induction, no NOS. Pure power. Amazing car.
