Here we go again, another cruise night in Elmhurst is here. Last weeks turn out was pretty good, we had a pretty good attendence for Gto's and a couple of G8's. We had Ambenz come out and an unknown owner, hopefully from here. I hope that in the future we can have more G8's come out and represent the Pontiac as the last v8 powered rear-wheel drive car.
There is always a great turn out and mix of new and old cars in attendence. Please dont be discouraged by the number of cars that are present, I honestly feel that there are two halves to this show, the first half is a mix of older owners, and usually bout 730/800 PM they generally tend to leave, and pleanty of spots open up.
If youre not famailiar with Elmhurst cruise night, its one of the more popular and very car friendly shows in the six county area. There are always a wide variety of cars from new cars such as G8's Vettes, mustangs, challangers and camaros to old classics such as model A's and some vintage classics at a 37 ford roadster, to the orginal Vettes and TBirds. This show is truly one for everyone, with many different restruants located in the downtown area.
I hope that we can get another great turn out, weather allowing, so far there was a little scare for rain, however it has appeared to stay to the east of Elmhurst. Hope to see you guys there.
Time: starts at 6, recomend getting there at 430-5 for good parking lots fill quickly show's over at 9! Bring chairs to sit in.
Joe
Ps for those of you all savy on GPS, this address will put u in the heart of the show, also the white dot on the map will be the parking lot for you to come and park in if you are bringing out the G8.
