The car will not crank over. The DIC says the engine is immobelized and it says service engine oil. Have you seen this before? Any ideas?

Did you do the security relearn?

Just got back to the computer. I did a security relearn and it starts. i did the case re-learn and that seemed to work but when I scan codes I get 0315 and it says it is unknown. I clear codes but it shows up the next time I use the dash hash to get codes.

Any idea what 0315 is?

P0315 is crank relearn if the light is out its cleared but in history no big deal.

All the indicators are normal where before the SES light was on so I guess it will disappear from history eventually.
Thanks for your help. It is greatly appreciated.

Glad it worked out. DAMN! I forgot this car has engine disable as part of the security system!

When you cleared the code did the check engine light go off. Mine is staying on even after I clear the code for the 0315

Never mind. LOL I went back to the car to see if I could try and do it again and the light was gone.

How long will the 0315 code stay in the history? Is this based on the number of startups or on a time frame for it to go Bye Bye? If it stays there permanently, it would be obvious to a dealer.
