I'll be driving mine back to JAX (St. Johns) at the end of July. By then it will have the pedders suspension installed. Maybe we can meet for a brew.

Hi, just wanted to introduce myself. New G8 GT owner here in St. Augustine; Panther GT, loaded. Nimnicht treated me right. As a family man, I still have to have a sedan until the son goes off to college and then a 2 seater will be in the future, but for now, looking to get the most out of this G8. I am a former BMW man, having owned 4 (3 Series) over the last 15 years and was about to trade into the 335i until I found the G8. I test drove the Merc C350, BMW 335i, Lotus Elise, Subaru Legacy and others, and nothing had the attitude I was looking for, nor the attention to detail for the money that you get on the G8. Glad to be back to American muscle after so long away! GMC did this one right.

hey paul, im in st auggy and have a panther black as well... i also went through nimnicht, and they were very good... the one with the painted grille was a 888... oh, if you guys are ever wanting to add a lil HP/TQ shoot me a PM, i know one of the best tuners/builders in FL, and they will hook you up...

Hi #31, No I didn't get the one with painted plastic grill, someone else beat me to it. I got the last black GT with sunroof they had last week, not an 888. G8's seem to be selling fast over there. I am not missing my BMW at all. LOL

Black with sport & premium package, I work in sales on the Southside and drive around most of the day. Love the car. Bought mine from Jon Hall in Daytona better deal then Nimnicht. G8 gathering sound good. We could all meet at one of the Saturday Cruise In's.

Saw my twin G8 GT today at Best Buy off Blanding. It was both exciting and disappointing at the same time. Exciting because its the first one I have seen other than my own, disappointing because its the first one I have seen other than mine and it was identical.

Found this post from a while back and thought I would add to it. We are doing a meet and greet at Sonic @ Beach and 9A tomorrow at 7 p.m. We (G8 and GTO's and whatever other american muscle we can find) will be in the back of the lot behind sonic by the stores. Hello everyone! In case you did not hear we are putting together a G8 event to be held in Central Florida. We have interest from folks to the north in Jacksonville all the way South to Ft. Lauderdale and everywhere in between. Check out this thread for the details.... http://www.g8board.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46196

We have a preliminary itinerary as follows:

Friday night - 1/4 mile drag strip Orlando Speedworld, or other.
Sat. morning - breakfast and cruise till about 12pm. Sightseeing and car wash.
Sat. afternoon - CFRC auto X and cookout?
Sat. night - cruise and G8 people's choice awards at location TBD.
Sunday 12pm - Family day, cookout, etc. can be at a local park. Coastal cruise, beach day.

this is by no means set in stone and is just a draft for now. The host committee is having their first meeting tonight and more details will be made available as the itinerary and schedule develop. Please keep checking the thread I have included above for additional developments and details. I look forward to seeing many of you there.
