It really varies and there are more factors than credit score that ultimately factor in. Mine, for instance, is under 700 and I still have a rather short credit history being so young, but because of things like the existing GMAC loan I already had on my Malibu that was being traded in, etc., I had absolutely no issue getting quick approval for what was a 1.9/72 offer through GMAC in February.
