I'm amazed at this car, I've had a ton of other cars, and I didnt expect much from this car, but was amazed at the build quality, and the way it drives. Hopefully the car will be done by LA Invasion, but Sema for sure. Haddad Motorsports will have both a supercharged and TT G8, Look for us out on the streets!

How many engines do you have lined up for the G8? ;)

Flash is one of my performance 'mod-king' heros when it comes to modding LSX cars! I'll be looking forward to seeing just how sick that G8 will turn out.

I wonder what kinda times that thing will be able to put down. From what I saw Haddad's G8 stock was handling pretty freakin nice and put down some good times at the track. Keep us posted.

Thanks, just over looking some things and the DOD on the G8s require a different cam, and different lifters, which basically the word states they are not "High Revving" and the problem is turbos dont make power till typically above 3200RPM, with the LS3 GXP model there wont be any concern, but for now, I'm still doing my homework, hoping to find some ways around this.

Alot, LOL. Its a whole new car. But the girlfriend drives it, so yeah.

so whats the word on the tt i am out of fresno were is evrione from? Still working on a setup, APS wont be available till end of April, and STS will have to custom make a system, but will prefer a single turbo, as the cost ratio wont be there for the price point.

Well I had to teach her the whole "Wave" thing that Vette owners do, and yeah she gets alot of attention in it, and enjoys that I guess. I get the Vette back this weekend so I'm looking forward to driving that for awhile.

Hey Flash, in one of my GM high tech perf mags they did a write up on hayes manuals. The car they were tearing apart was a 5.3L impala and they had the lifter valley cover off and it displayed the DOD setup. If the L76 is the same deal, it looks like the DOD solenoids, special lifters and lousy cam could be pulled and replaced with "better" non- DOD equipment. Axe the DOD active protocol through HP Tuners so you dont see any codes. Might just have to plug the oil feed ports in the block that fed the solenoids........

Been doing research, but your absolutely right, the cam sucks, the lifters suck, and I would love to change the whole setup. The DOD can be taken out via HP tuners, and thats my plan for the weekend. An LS7 cam swap and 928 springs are where I'm heading for it. I would love to do a write up on the complete break down of the motor. but that wont be for a few weeks. :) As much as you appreciate my modding, I appreciate your work more. Big thumbs up on the quality, and fit/finish of your products!

With th twin turbo from mike, you will have quite a ride. Make sure you chat with Mike about your suspension. It currently is not set up for that kind of hp. Ask him about our chrome plated adjustable Pedders coil overs that I have.

what's up flash?? small world. i just picked up my new g8 and am looking to put a little extra into it.

pissed alot of people off when i sold the gto (wanted rematches!!) now i got the g8! ready to break some **** off, with a 4 door!! :wink2:

you still get out to barona? every time i try to go i get stuck working!! i was just in diego for the last two weeks for work! but, no car or bike. :(
