I was out cruising around last night, and some guys led me to a drag strip in Detroit. There were a lot of cars there and the racing was good. It did get a little hectic when some people that weren't regulars there started to be stupid, but all in all it was a good time.
Some of the people there race for money, some for fun. I happened to walk out of there $20 richer when this Ford turbo diesel thought he could take me.
So if you are down to do a lil drag racing, then i suggest you hit this spot up. The road is great and there isn't any potholes on it. Send me a message if you want to check it out on a Friday or Saturday. Heres the map to it. It's on French road, right next to city airport.

French road is old school I remember running down there when I had my first fast car 94 z28, well over 10 yrs ago. You gotta be careful since they installed them damn islands.:oldfogey:

Speaking of things you probably shouldn't post on the internet....

There aren't any islands on the main part. Only by the turn from Lynch to French.
And GTPrix, like the previous poster said. It's been around for years and the cops have known about it for years. It's no secret.

There aren't many but if your by there in the daytime take a look at how many tire tracks, oil and trans fluid spills you see all around them.

No kidding I used to go down there when I was a teenager before I grew out of it like most people however what I was referring to was when you get caught/wreck/kill someone not good to have a nice easily found piece of evidence like that ;)

And what might be your problem with this G8GT594 that you resort to calling me stupid? I post a spot that has been around for years for people to hang out at, that apparently the police and everyone around here already knows about and i get ridiculed for it.
This is an open forum the last time I checked, so what is your problem?

Hey it's Detroit, the cops have bigger things to worry about then some people willing to show up and risk their lives/cars by racing. Like the original poster said, the cops have known about it for years. Chill out.
