: PNW: 1st Anniversary PNW G8 Owners Club Meet - 8/30
BBBBGXP 07-11-2009, 11:14 PM Official word here! The PNW G8 Owners Club returns to its roots with our 1st Anniversary GTG at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park in Renton, on Sunday, August 30th, 2009. We have a shelter reserved from 8am to 2pm, so we can do lunch there. And plenty of parking nearby with large shade trees, that we can sit under, and enjoy the rest of the afternoon talking G8s! This is the same park that, on 30 August 2008, the fledgling PNW G8 Owners Club met for the first time with three G8s! We've grown since then, and can make this a celebration of our first year, and of our appreciation of the G8! The particulars are:
When: Sunday August 30, 2009
Where: Creekside Shelter at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park, 1201 Lake Washington Blvd, Renton
Time: From 8am to ???
What will you need: Whatever you want for lunch, and your drinks. However, there are a few of us that will be providing charcoal, burgers, buns, table coverings, and condiments for all. Drinks (non-alcoholic only), any pot luck type dishes, derserts, etc., would be welcomed! If you plan on staying beyond 2pm, bring a blanket or lawn chairs as we have to give up the shelter and move out by the cars under the trees.
This is a very nice park, well maintained, and right on the south end of Lake Washington with a huge swimming area, bath houses and restrooms (not porta potties). Below is a map of the park, the Creekside Shelter is on the right side of the South Entrance, along the creek!

We do NOT have reserved parking! We cannot park in the boat launch parking lot! We will try to hold spots for attendees, so if you plan on being there, post up so we know how many spots to try to hold!
See you all there!

BBBBGXP 08-06-2009, 01:18 PM With just over three weeks to go for the big day, we need to start getting a more firm idea on who will be showing up! Commitments so far are Mike, Ben, Brandon, and me. Probable are Scott, Brenden and Ranay. This is a good start, but we need to get all those interested to fess up so we can start planning on the food part, and the parking spots! Since Brandon and I have volunteered to provided burgers, dogs, buns, condiments and charcoal it would be nice to know if we are buying for 10, 20 or 50! (50 would be nice!) So all you procrastinators and last minute types need to commit real soon!
08G8V8 08-06-2009, 01:30 PM Won't be there.

BobtheMonkee 08-07-2009, 12:01 PM nice! It would be awesome if everyone could bring at least one side dish...pasta salad, cookies, deviled eggs. But like john said, please lets us know SOON if you will be coming so that we can figure out how much food to bring :)

xfactor 08-10-2009, 10:41 PM The family and I will more than likely be there. Hell, its only 2 hours away. Looking forward to it.
Brandon, do you have a full list of attendees?
X
BobtheMonkee 08-10-2009, 11:00 PM nice! its about an hour and a half for me.
I dont have a full list yet, as people are still checking in. I'll help john update the first thread with people that are for sure.
BBBBGXP 08-11-2009, 08:06 PM We've got a ways to go yet! I will be purchasing the eats the Friday before, but knowing how much $$$ its going to cost would be nice. That way I can double it and make Brandon give me half!:laugh::laugh:
DragoonRaven 08-12-2009, 06:34 PM I guess we will not be going (I accidentally posted as Nay up there pre-emptively, didn't care to fix it). We're going out to Safeco that day to watch the Mariners lose. Also Nay doesn't seem to be extremely interested in the G8 scene anymore.
DHMOTORSPORTS08 08-12-2009, 06:41 PM I think i will be bring two people

WOW! A charter member yet! We're going to miss you guys! Have fun at the ball game. We're going tomorrow to boo at A-Rod in person! Oh, you could stop by for an hour or so, its only a 20 minute drive to Safeco from Renton, and the Mariners should win, they're playing KC!:wink2::pir_flag:

Yeah but it's a forever drive there and back in the first place. Also don't want to try and find, nor pay for, parking near Safeco. We'll be walking on the ferry to get there.
MissNaySimon 08-12-2009, 07:28 PM Brenden, you're an *******.
MissNaySimon 08-12-2009, 07:40 PM I haven't decided if I want to go yet or not. I've been working 40 hours a week at work, and while growing a baby - it's frankly exhausting. Ask Brenden, I'm in bed at 10 usually.
I don't usually get weekends off, and since I practically had to beg to get this one day off for something other than the car meet I don't know if I'm ready to squeeze another activity in for the day. I'll let you know, though.
BBBBGXP 08-12-2009, 08:39 PM Hey we all understand the being tired thing. At least those of us with our own kids, and have gone thru the experience understand, even if we are male! It would be super having the original "Charter Members" show up at the Anniversary, and of course our "Honorary Charter Member", Scott. Didn't have the car, but the spirit was there! As far as I know, Carlos is a go for it! That would be the three of us, and all the nubees!:wink2::pir_flag:
MissNaySimon 08-12-2009, 09:03 PM Should I put Tristen in his infant seat for the pictures, too? LOL
BBBBGXP 08-12-2009, 09:52 PM Should I put Tristen in his infant seat for the pictures, too? LOL
If you think he'd fit, sure! Don't think that pic will be an annual occurrence for long! We could keep doing it with your future kids thou! How many you planning on making?:wink2::pir_flag:
MissNaySimon 08-12-2009, 11:45 PM LOL I'm not quite sure yet. It'll depend on how life goes after this one shows up!
BobtheMonkee 08-13-2009, 11:05 AM i can attest to nay's struggles lately....i rarely ever see her anymore. she's always working or busy being preggers. It kinda frustrates me because she is one of my best friends, but at the same time, i understand. Gotta make that money and gotta take care of the baby.
I'm sure once she pops the baby out she'll have a bit more time to hang :)
we miss you nay :)
BobtheMonkee 08-13-2009, 11:07 AM wtf...i consider myself a charter member...i was at one meet in the first year of the meets ;)
BBBBGXP 08-13-2009, 12:51 PM wtf...i consider myself a charter member...i was at one meet in the first year of the meets ;)
Charter Member = had car by the original date, and showed up at the original GTG! Do you qualify under both categories? Guess you aren't as special as you thought!:gr_jest::gr_jest::gr_jest:
DHMOTORSPORTS08 08-13-2009, 04:38 PM Hey now i think i should be one. Lol I had my car before mostly all of you. I even posted up on the GTG last year. I couldnt make it but i wanted too. LOL John...... Look at the list of members brandon and i are before you! hahaha
MissNaySimon 08-13-2009, 04:57 PM But John, Mary, Carlos and I were the only ones present at Ivars that day!
BBBBGXP 08-13-2009, 06:47 PM Hey now i think i should be one. Lol I had my car before mostly all of you. I even posted up on the GTG last year. I couldnt make it but i wanted too. LOL John...... Look at the list of members brandon and i are before you! hahaha
Coulda, shoulda, woulda! Yep, probably another northenders excuse for not making the original meet right??? The order of list of members was determined by when you said add me to the list, not when you actually did anything with the PNW G8 Owners Club. Hell, the guy that started the original list has never even made it to a GTG! Guess that shows you what the order of listing of names is worth!!!:wink2::pir_flag:
DHMOTORSPORTS08 08-13-2009, 07:27 PM well i would have if my transmission mount and engine mount didnt fall causing my car to be in the shop for awhile. the mount seized up causing the motor to sit sideways so i couldnt drive. lol its ok brandon and i will start are own group for just pbm cars. hahahaha:fawkdance::gr_jest:
DHMOTORSPORTS08 08-13-2009, 07:28 PM we could judge it by when you got your car! hahaha
BobtheMonkee 08-13-2009, 09:08 PM we definitely need a get together...you's people are getting feisty!
BBBBGXP 08-14-2009, 02:15 AM we could judge it by when you got your car! hahaha
Took delivery 7 July 2008. And you? How about you Brandon? Ya know, we have had a few GTGs since then, your engine sideways for all those too?:gr_jest::gr_jest::gr_jest:
DHMOTORSPORTS08 08-14-2009, 04:21 AM I work from 1-11pm monday-friday and most weekends at the same time. and in the morning i have therapy for my knee. so going to gtgs is pretty hard for me. I try alot to get the time off because i love g8s but I would rather keep my job then get fired. I will be going to the show this saturday and on the 30th and probably the things in sept. I bought my G8 april 4th 2008. John im not trying to start anything and i do involve myself as much as possible on the forums because im plain busy. I would love to have everyone elses work schedule. Brandon has involed himself alot more then me so i dont see why you would have a problem with that with him either.
DHMOTORSPORTS08 08-14-2009, 04:25 AM The purpose i thought for the club and forum was so that everyone could enjoy there cars and others. I know that i enjoy mine and the mods so im happy.
DHMOTORSPORTS08 08-14-2009, 04:30 AM John did i see you at the mariners games outside? someone looking just like you was checking out my car when i was driving by safeco
MissNaySimon 08-14-2009, 11:25 AM <--- May 4th.
Also - Is it supposed to be fall or summer? Jeez! Enough summer rain already.

Just for the record, I work Friday thru Tuesday, usually 7am-4pm. My days off are Weds and Thurs on an almost permanent basis. So for me to go to any of the GTG, a lot of which I am involved in setting up one way or another, I have to take a vacation day, or more. I attend as many of the events as I can, and still stay employed. I was instrumental in setting up the PNW G8 Owners Club, thought up and do all the leg work to get the ball caps going (at no profit to myself by the way, even thou so far I have one cheap skate that hasn't paid for his hat), and I got the events flyer started to spread the word on the club. So I feel I'm pretty dedicated to the PNW G8 Owners Club. I don't have any problem with anyone's degree of involvement, I just feel that those of us that have made the initial commitment, and continue to aggressively contribute to the club and its events should be recognized for their efforts. Brandon took it upon himself to be coordinator, and do what he does. At the time he committed himself he had a lot more free time to give than he does today. Now that he is back to a more normal routine at work, his time is more valuable to him and his new GF. He fully knows I am busting his chops about the club stuff. And I have no doubt should I go over the line with him he'd let me know!
The purpose i thought for the club and forum was so that everyone could enjoy there cars and others. I know that i enjoy mine and the mods so im happy.
The club is to share with your fellow G8 owners anything you want. If its mods or gas mileage or waxes or tires, whatever. Its for the camaraderie! Anyone that wants a connection with others that love their G8s, that's what the club is for! If any of this makes you happy, GREAT! Mission Accomplished!:wink2::pir_flag:
BBBBGXP 08-14-2009, 09:11 PM John did i see you at the mariners games outside? someone looking just like you was checking out my car when i was driving by safeco
If you mean last night, I was at the game with my wife. I didn't see any G8s, so it wasn't me checking you out. But then there are a lot of old, fat, bald headed guys around, so odds are one of them was checking out your car. I always wear a dark blue Mariners ball cap and Mariners jacket (from when Griffey was there the first time). If the guy you saw wasn't outfitted like that, then it definitely wasn't me!:wink2::pir_flag:

I might add that for some of us, the later purchase dates were not due to anything more than waiting for an '09 color (like SRM). In my case, my involvement with the G8 started in September of '07 when I first started visiting this forum (I always research a car I want to buy for at least a year before making the commitment). I joined in the forum fun in October of '07, gleaning as much knowledge and information about the G8 as I could from the "founding members" of this forum, before tagging my '09 G8 May 24th, 2008, the first day '09's could be tagged. I consider myself an "old timer" around here, not for my number of posts, age, or certainly not my automotive knowledge, but for my continued long term involvement in it. I guess what all this is leading up to is, purchase date may not be an accurate judge of a person's involvement with the G8.:wink2::pir_flag:

I didn't even know about the G8 until about 5 days before I actually bought one! I saw it online and went for a test drive. I almost bought it on the spot, but I felt I should restrain and think about it for awhile, so less than a week later I couldn't stand it anymore and had to go for a second test drive and bought it that day!
At least you aren't still waiting to buy one like Dollar Bill!
DHMOTORSPORTS08 08-16-2009, 03:09 AM Ive been looking into Holden commodores ve and g8s, but mainly have been wanting the gxp since they announced it. I may have joined the forum later but i really didnt feel that i needed to join till a later time. I very well understand that you have done a huge part in forming the club and all the work for the club and i thank you. I have no problem with anything you have said but i dont like that people say I or anyone else make up reasons not to show. I am very busy just like the next guy and with my work schedule and age i cant really take vacation time. Some people on this forum dont show because they do make up reasons but to bad for them but for me i really wish i could have gone to these meeting.

He was wearing a blue ball cap. haha true! well no worries its still nice to get all age people to check out our cars. I guess i will see you at the car show?

Nope, couldn't get the day off from work. But I will see you at the Anniversary meet on the 30th, right?:wink2::pir_flag:
BBBBGXP 08-17-2009, 01:16 AM I didn't even know about the G8 until about 5 days before I actually bought one! I saw it online and went for a test drive. You know, its funny, first time I drove a G8, I felt the same way. I drove a LR GT in late March '08 and almost bought that one. But, the bright red just wasn't me, especially knowing that another red version was on the way for '09!
Dollar may, and I say may, end up with a used GXP. I think he has waited too long now to find a new one in his area! Besides, why would he ruin a perfectly good brand new GXP trying to put 22s on it?
DHMOTORSPORTS08 08-17-2009, 01:56 AM No worries john but i will be there on the 30th. it will be nice to see you all.
MissNaySimon 08-17-2009, 10:54 AM I don't know if I'm going to make it. God damnit. My boss said I could have the day off, and he was thinking it was THIS weekend, even thought I wrote the 30th on the calendar. So, chances are that he's going to have me work a very short shift in the morning and then let me go in the afternoon so I can go to the game.. Little annoyed right now.

Do I see an excuse building here!?! One of three of original, backing out at virtually the last minute?:whine: Hope you can work it out to at least make an appearance!:wiggle:
MissNaySimon 08-17-2009, 10:52 PM For someone that has full availability 100% of the time, I never get any damn weekends off..
BBBBGXP 08-17-2009, 10:56 PM For someone that has full availability 100% of the time, I never get any damn weekends off..
I think its time for a sick day! After all, you are preggors! That's the best excuse I can think of, at least for now!:wink2::pir_flag: I must say thou, my regular work week is Friday thru Tuesday, so I never get weekends off! I have to take vacation days to do G8 events! Do what you think is right, Sears certainly wont!
grandmacpubah 08-17-2009, 11:25 PM I thought I could come, but I can't...I couldn't remember why till today when I got handed the itinerary for our company picnic that I'm supposed to give some awards to some of my employees lol...I guess I have to show for that.

Too bad. Was looking forward to seeing that Stryker again! Your employees deserve to have you there thou! See you on the 12th, or in Bremerton on the 19th!:wink2::pir_flag:
BobtheMonkee 08-18-2009, 10:55 AM it would be nice to start getting come RSVP action here by this weekend so that john and i can start planning the food end of the meet. So, if you can show, please post and we'll add you to the list
I've update the firs post with a list of confirmations. If you are bringing anyone with you, please let me know how many you are bringing. Please verify with the confirmation list that i have the number attending correct.
thanks :)
The Black Knight 08-18-2009, 12:06 PM I would like to attend even though I am not officially a member of the PNW G-8 club, was invited by a friend at work named David who I think is a member LOL. I have a 2009 Panther Black Met G8 sedan that is having fits over the CEL on the fuel evap leak thingy. I can bring a side dish, wife, and two auto enthusiatically challenged teenage sons, total 4 of us....
Carl
AliG8tr 08-18-2009, 01:57 PM Don't plan on us being there. If we can show up we will for sure but we won't know until a couple of days before. :)
(My family, not the mouse in my pocket.)
BobtheMonkee 08-18-2009, 03:23 PM cool carl, lookin forward to meeting you...there are no specific requirements for being part of the "club"...just show up and have fun
BBBBGXP 08-18-2009, 10:12 PM Brandon it will be me and Mary for sure. My boys may show up, free food and all, but wont know til the bitter, if then. We can do a fudge factor on the food, but we need the neighborhood at least!:wink2::pir_flag:
xfactor 08-19-2009, 01:06 AM Don't know if we will make it. Travelling for work a lot in the next two weeks and don't know if I will be in town.
Tylerb59 08-19-2009, 04:15 AM We're still in. :)
SCOTT A. SULLIVAN 08-19-2009, 08:28 AM I will be there BRIGHT AND EARLY with permit in hand.
DHMOTORSPORTS08 08-21-2009, 11:10 PM Carl welcome to the forum and its good to see that you will be coming on the 30th.
BBBBGXP 08-26-2009, 11:16 AM Weather is looking good for Sunday! I'm shopping Friday for the food, so all you late comers fess up now, or go hungry! For all those already on the list to be there, be sure to bring a dish, even if its just a bag of chips! Remember, drinks are an individual responsiblity, NO ALCOHOL! See you all Sunday!
BobtheMonkee 08-26-2009, 03:19 PM john, gimme a call later today or tomorrow so u can let me know what time you are going to the store. I dont want you spending a whole month's pension check on the bbq :P
what are the grilling facilities like at this park. Large grills or the small dinky public park grills?

Gee Brandon, I don't know if I've still got your number around somewhere!!??? I know if I had some club cards I could get it from there, but.............:gr_jest::gr_jest::gr_jest:
The grills are the standard public park variety, maybe a little larger, but not much. I was going to get a large bag of charcoal and a can of lighter fluid as I believe there are at least a couple of grills at the shelter we are getting. OK, just looked at the Renton City parks site, the Creekside Shelter has electricity, 3 BBQs, seven tables, and a water faucet. You all can check it out here http://rentonwa.gov/living/default.aspx?id=49.
BobtheMonkee 08-27-2009, 10:58 AM i'll bring more club cards to the picnic...if you would quit taking the cards to elementary schools and geriatric homes and such, you wouldnt run out of them so quick!
BBBBGXP 08-27-2009, 12:22 PM Yeah, yeah, some of us get around to cruisin' more than the malls! Besides, those old ladies at the home like the cards better than candy and flowers!:gr_jest::gr_jest: I think its the thought of going for a ride with someone that drives faster than 25 and doesn't take ten minutes to make a right turn!:wink2::pir_flag:
Mike's G8 GT 08-27-2009, 07:33 PM I am going to make it Sunday with my daughter. Mike in Monroe:driving:
ru8teen 08-27-2009, 08:06 PM hey guys....I would love to show up for my first G8 meet-up.
I just need to make sure if I can bring my 5-month old puppy with us to the park. Can anyone confirm if this will be ok? Thanks. Alex
BBBBGXP 08-27-2009, 08:12 PM hey guys....I would love to show up for my first G8 meet-up.
I just need to make sure if I can bring my 5-month old puppy with us to the park. Can anyone confirm if this will be ok? Thanks. Alex
Sorry Alex, just checked the park web site, and it says no animals. Would love to see you there if you can find a sitter for the pooch!? (I'm leaving my two at home if its any consolation!):wink2::pir_flag:
BBBBGXP 08-28-2009, 08:26 PM OK folks! Based on attendees listed as of 6pm PDT today, I am buying food for 30 people! If you are a last minute showup, you may or may not have food available to you, so get there early! For all those already committed, lunch will be from 11:30 to 1:30pm. We have to clear the shelter by 2:30pm at the latest, so then we will be stuck with the common areas, still very nice by the way!:wink2::pir_flag:
BBBBGXP 08-29-2009, 10:03 PM Just finished washing and detailing the G8, its been a month since I did it last so really needed! Good weather does that for you, lets you put off doing what you know you should be doing in favor of enjoying the nice days and nights! So hope I'm not the only one prepping for tomorrow! Hope to see lots of "johnny come latelys" tomorrow! All are welcome, regardless of when you show up! See you all there!:wink2::pir_flag:
MidlifeG8 08-30-2009, 07:39 PM Well that was fun day outing with everyone and it was great to see double digit showing of the G8's. As far as the photos go I'll have them posted as soon as I can.. As of this minute it looks like I'm pulling a all nighter at work and so I'll post the photos I took as soon as I can.
Again it was great meeting everyone one that showed up
Mike

Hope to see all of you at BOP at Bremerton Raceway on Saturday, September 19th!:wink2::pir_flag:
DHMOTORSPORTS08 08-31-2009, 03:35 AM Wasnt really happy with the show up. I was hoping more people in the northwest would have came but its to bad for them. Brandon and john thank you so much for a great location and great food. Hopefully next year we can have all are northwest members come.
DHMOTORSPORTS08 08-31-2009, 04:43 PM Can someone post pictures up soon? This was a great event even though we had a little bumper to bumper action!

You are more than welcome David, but the real thanks goes to Scott Sullivan who did all the leg work on the park shelter and paid most of the cost of it out of his pocket! So a big G8 shoutout to Scott for all you did!

They're coming! Our "Official Club Photographer" (Mike Cummings) had to pull an all nighter for his work, so he's a little punch drunk today. He should be putting something up in the next 24 hours!:wink2::pir_flag:

DHMOTORSPORTS08 08-31-2009, 08:15 PM Scott you did a fantastic job. Without you and all the others we would not have had such a great location or setup.
SCOTT A. SULLIVAN 08-31-2009, 08:28 PM Glad to hear that everone liked the park. If we want to hold it next year at the same park it is not a problem for me to pick up the permit. Thanks to all who were able to show up, it was good to see you all on what turned out to be a great day!

BBBBGXP 09-01-2009, 07:13 PM what get together?
Ummm, the one you couldn't attend 'cause your parents were going to be in town(per your post on 8/10), and you had to hand out awards to your employees at the company picnic(per your post on 8/17). That get together!:wink2::pir_flag:
xfactor 09-01-2009, 08:35 PM Hated that we couldn't make it. It looks like everyone had a great time. Hope that we can make it next time. Maybe a southern Washington meet next year????

Ben2009GT 09-01-2009, 08:44 PM Well somewhere from driving from my home to the NWG8OW meet get together I've seem to have forgotten how to backup into a parking spot. Here's the results.
Mike's G8 GT 09-01-2009, 09:32 PM Ouch Ben that's why we have insurance. :(
Ben2009GT 09-01-2009, 09:40 PM Ouch Ben that's why we have insurance. :(Yea and it really hurts when you just made a change from company who you had for 18 yrs with no claims and not even have the new one for three weeks, thats what hurts also.

BBBBGXP 09-02-2009, 11:51 AM Nice pics Mike! I'm sure David will enjoy the photoshop ones even better!:wink2::pir_flag:
AliG8tr 09-02-2009, 12:05 PM Looks like a pretty wild bunch! :P Have any of the people with no front plate gotten pulled over for it? I know it's technically required but I really want to take mine off. I don't need any extra harassment though. The cops around here already watch me like a hawk. :(
sailor_guy 09-02-2009, 04:34 PM Man it really sucks to be you Washingtonians. I'm so glad I changed my resgistration to TN. Now I can show my Titans pride coming and going :-)Looks like a pretty wild bunch! :P Have any of the people with no front plate gotten pulled over for it? I know it's technically required but I really want to take mine off. I don't need any extra harassment though. The cops around here already watch me like a hawk. :(
AliG8tr 09-02-2009, 04:39 PM Why'd you have to register in TN to do that? Oh... special plate?
BBBBGXP 09-02-2009, 04:50 PM Hey Carlos! Missed you on Sunday! I was the only original PNW G8er to show up! Had to carry on the tradition!:wink2::pir_flag:
Ben2009GT 09-02-2009, 05:02 PM Man it really sucks to be you Washingtonians. I'm so glad I changed my resgistration to TN. Now I can show my Titans pride coming and going :-)Shhhh I won't tell anyone that you're a Titans fan Oh you mean the Houston Oilers. OK. I'm Pround fan of a team with a winning tradition, been to 8 Super Bowls and get this won 5 of them. Now thats something to brag about.
DHMOTORSPORTS08 09-02-2009, 05:03 PM Photoshop pictures for sure lol! Ive been stopped once after a year with out it by brier police. I would say go for it but you will have some nice size holes in your bumper!
AliG8tr 09-02-2009, 05:14 PM If I do it I will fill and paint them. It's so annoying that we have to have that front plate. It looks so much better without it. I'm trying to stay out of police trouble though and I'm thinking that some of the meaner ones around here would be all over that. Idk. Do you know how much the ticket is?
DHMOTORSPORTS08 09-02-2009, 05:25 PM i think around $120. not 100% sure but its very close to that. Being that i have the drug dealer package aka "gangster Gangster"on my car you shouldnt be bugged as much. I think thats what they call mine?
AliG8tr 09-02-2009, 05:54 PM Lol. Yeah I have the pink carseat in the back pkg so they might consider me to be less of a threat to the community. Until they run my plate. :P
sailor_guy 09-03-2009, 10:41 PM Mrs. AliG8ter I didn't have to register in TN, I chose to. Active duty military that are legal residents of TN can have any vehicle they own registered in TN no matter where they live physically. I still have the front license plate holder on the car I just have a Tennessee Titans vanity plate on it :-)Why'd you have to register in TN to do that? Oh... special plate?
sailor_guy 09-03-2009, 10:43 PM So Ben you are a Titans fan? lol.Shhhh I won't tell anyone that you're a Titans fan Oh you mean the Houston Oilers. OK. I'm Pround fan of a team with a winning tradition, been to 8 Super Bowls and get this won 5 of them. Now thats something to brag about.

How many tickets you have? what would come up if they ran your plates?
:wall:
AliG8tr 09-03-2009, 11:27 PM How many tickets you have? what would come up if they ran your plates?
:wall:
Ohh...a few tickets for speeding and agressive driving, although I've only had one in the past 7 months so I'm doing well in recovery. Then there might be a little issue with a felony warrant for *cough* homicide and then they would search the car and find the sex slaves in the trunk. I'm supposed to deliver them on the 23rd of this month though so if I got pulled over after that they wouldn't be a problem.
sailor_guy 09-04-2009, 11:07 AM Sorry I didn't make the meet John. I was layed up in the bed with a sinus infection :-( otherwise you lnow that I would've been there. Hey Carlos! Missed you on Sunday! I was the only original PNW G8er to show up! Had to carry on the tradition!:wink2::pir_flag:
BBBBGXP 09-05-2009, 11:37 PM Sorry I didn't make the meet John. I was layed up in the bed with a sinus infection :-( otherwise you lnow that I would've been there.
See, you should have been under that G8 quilt and that wouldn't have happened!:laugh: Seriously, hope you are feeling better and will be able to make the meet at Bremerton on the 19th! So how did the car show at Whidby go? Did you get a chance to make it over to it?
BBBBGXP 09-05-2009, 11:57 PM So with the dearth of posts by PNW G8ers of late thought I'd post up some pics from the Anniversary GTG.

DHMOTORSPORTS08 09-09-2009, 04:48 PM Its a pontiac! May have been Built by Holden but it still is tagged as a pontiac. No holden emblems for me or pontiac on the outside just my v-flag and pontiac inside the car. its a modded G8 at heart!
