Can these pedals be added after market? I am assuming these are just covers and I can probably just buy them thru GM Parts. Am I wrong?

I just put mine on. The directions could have been a he!! of lot better.

Brake pedal -- The stock pedal pulls off in two seconds. I followed the crappy directions, cut my hand on the metal pedal :whine: , and it just wouldn't go on. I sprayed a little WD-40 on the inside of the alloy pedal and it slipped right on.


Gas Pedal -- Be warned...you get the entire gas pedal assembly. It just doesn't slip on. The directions for this could have been better. You need to take off the lower part of the dash [two screws then pull down]. You need a 10mm socket to take out the three bolts that hold the assembly on and you then have to unplug the pedal sensor. Then put it all back together.
