I was wondering if anyone has put a cam in a g8 yet?I have a cold air intake and exh. on mine.Im waiting to see what happes with the DoD with a higher lift cam with a smaller lsa.

I'm pretty sure that if you change the cam you lose the AFM/DOD.

You can search over at the ls1.com.au forums to see what cams have been put in the commodore ve. The DOD is always turned off from what I have seen.

And lifter trays, valley cover, springs, pushrods, etc.

Why mess with all of that? Just put a Magnacharger on it and be done with it :)
