You list the following springs on you web site:
2954, Front, 624mm ride height with 19" wheels
2955, Rear, 642mm ride height with 19" wheels
2957, Rear, 654mm ride height with 19" wheels

In the photos of the Pedderized G8 it says:

2954 Front ride height 642mm.
2955 Rear ride height 622mm.

And in Mike's post he lists:
2954 40mm drop.
2955 40mm drop.

There is a little confusion between the website list and the data on the photos. Which is correct?

Also, do the 2954/2955 drop equally (40mm), as suggested by Mike's post, so that the angle of the door line remains as stock, just lower?

Does the 2957 drop the rear only 28mm thereby lowering the rear less than the 2954 lowers the front which accentuates that forward rake (front low) already designed into the G8?

Thanks,
Ed

Mike? Pete? Can you shed any light?

BTW, I took it to a local car show last night and drew a lot of attention from everybody from the sport compact guys to the middle aged Beemer guys to old farts like me.

I told them of my plans to become a Pedderfile and there was a lot in interest in that too. There were a couple of GTO guys who spoke very highly of Pedders.

There is going to be some confusion about what "stock" ride height is until there is a good sample of incoming G8s off the boat. And some cofusion about production tolerances at the GM end.

Once the sample size is 200 or so Pedders should be able to tell you what your ride height is going to be within +/- 5mm I bet.

That is correct, the larger the sampling the more accurate we can be.
For now we have base line ride height of 660mm with 19 inch wheels.
The 2954's give a ride height of 642mm
The 2955's give a ride height of 622mm.

I will be adding any and all information to give as accurate data as possible.

Go with the Pictures on the website, that is the real data and look:)

After several weeks 600mm front and rear with 19s are solid numbers. The biggest variations we have seen at 8mm. That was on the front and my guess a result of shipping damage. We didn't Pedderise that car so I didn't get to examine the strut mount. My G8 was within 3mm front side to side and 4mm side to side in the rear.

Pete, Did you mistype 600mm?
