Its such a simple finishing touch to the under hood, why did GM delete this trim ?

I am glad they didn't delete this piece on the GTOs.

Jump on this guys, this part AFAIK isnt in production anymore so when stock runs out thats it. I may order one just for my 2009 to have it on hand :)

It may work with some other CAI. But the roto CAI it won't work with.

I received my cover yesterday! That was much faster than I expected. I will install it this weekend and post pics.

I had an email on 4/13 stating that mine would be dispatched in 24 hours and I should get it in 7-14 days. Still waiting. Once I get it on I will post up a picture. I hope it helps "tighten" up the radiator overflow tank (with the yellow lid). It seems to wobble a lot. I am afraid of it weakening and cracking/breaking overtime.

ha! I installed mine in record time...TWO minutes! But STILL couldnt find time to snap pic! Ha! But if you are curious as to how it looks, take a peek at the pics in post #1...mine looks EXACTLY the same, EXCEPT my car is grey/gray (spell it how you want).
