Sort of off topic, but can anyone recommend a good program for creating a MP3 CD (Vista), that will allow you to arrange and create folder names that will display correctly on the GT's radio Folder Display?.
Thanks,
Phog

I used Nero, and all the folder names come up perfect, I used the "MP3" setting.

How about converting Ipod songs (which I think are Mp4s or something) to Mp3s?
Also - I put in some CDs this evening and the Owners' Manual pg 6-11 says I can change the Display mode. Problem is - Display Mode isn't even an option. Is this not available or is there something wrong with my radio?

Found out my own answer - sort of. I loaded another CD and the Display Mode was there. Funny thing is, the first one is a store-bough CD while the one that works is copied. I would think it'd be the other way around. I guess it'll be trial and error. Maybe the way the discs are copied makes a difference. Who knows...

u can also just use vista to burn your data CD. just put a blank CD in, then open My Computer, open the CD drive folder. then drag and drop the folders/songs into that CD drive. then when u have everything organized the way u want, right-click on that CD drive when you're at the My Computer view and click "Burn These Files To Disk" i believe it says.......pretty simple

I don't have Vista nor do I want it (have used it and don't like it). My problem is I have iTunes which converted all my CD music and downloaded music to iTunes music files. How do I convert those to Mp3?

In your settings on iTunes you can tell it when burning to cd what type of file you want it to burn to.

I tried that dodson, but when you choose to "Burn Mp3 CD" it errors out and says: "These files are not in Mp3 format...." so that is why I asked how you can convert back to Mp3.

Check Cnet's Download (http://www.download.com). There you will find many different programs that will allow file conversions. Just make sure that the ones you look at that they are free. Some say "Free to Try" but cost money after the program's first use.

Stupid iTunes tricks... (http://internetducttape.com/2008/01/24/stupid-itunes-tricks-how-to-burn-a-mp3-cd-with-folders/)
or since you can't directly convert protected *.aac or *.mp4 files:

And then there is always:
