Just another reminder of the monthly G8 meet, as usual on the last Saturday of every month.

Date: August 29th Saturday
Time: 6pm
Location: Behind Hooter's (I45 & Nasa Road 1)

So here is what I digged up about this location. It is open to the public, meaning we can show up and hang out. Someone does put up cones to block off traffic from coming through the car show area of the parking lot, so there must be some organization for the gathering. It typically starts up at around 7pm, so it might be a good idea for us to roll up together so you can park next to each other at around 6-ish. Maybe someone can setup a meeting point before rolling up so you guys can be together for parking - just in case.

count me in if im not busy and u knwo there is a meet at the fountains every sat also that we can all meet and roll into at once its usally pretty big turn out there actually lots of nice cars there and it goes from 6 to 10 and pretty good bbq there also and no hassel with the cops and u can drink ur beer in the parkin lot if u purchase from the resteraunt lmk i think it would be pretty cool to roll up 20 plus g8s to that meet in a row

I wish I could make it up there but my kids are starting school that week. I think the meet for Nov. should be a Texas G8 shootout at a track close to houston. Bracket racing so everyone would have a chance to win.

It is pretty far SOuth. Why can't we agree to centralize the location and get more cars out?? That would be sweet, no?

I have to agree that I'd like something more central. The last location was nice since it had easy access to the Westheimer Rice Festival. But my brother lives down south along with a couple of friends so I'm used to going that direction.

Yes, any car can show up. Hopefully enough G8's will show to represent.

Sorry I did not make it to the meet. when i was getting ready to leave my friend calls and his car broke down and he needed help getting his car home. But i should make the next one for sure.

Didn't make it either, had to work. Big rollout of new HR timetracking system. :(

Some people need to learn the lesson that guarantees they never do retarded crap like that again.

There were quite a few people there. I did not have a camera but someone else had one and posted pictures on the other site.
