I'm looking at buying a used Pontiac G8 GT or GXP. I'll either buy a modified car or modify a stock one. I'm in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. If I end up with a Livernois-modified car, where would you recommend I go for tune changes, repairs, more modifications, etc? Here's hoping you can recommend a shop close to me...

We actually have quite a few customers from that area that come to the shop. I realize it's quite a long distance, so they usually do large mods all at one time. We always factor the cost of our X-Treme Cal interface into those jobs, so if the tune needs to be changed, we can send files back and forth via email.
Thank you for your interest

Rick LeBlanc

Yeah, Google maps shows it as a 9-hour drive, so I understand your advice about planning the mods. I didn't know that with the tool and e-mail, we can re-tune from a distance. That helps. Thanks.

No problem.
In the last month, we've had two customers drive from Calgary, AB to the shop. One for a head/cam swap in his C6 Corvette and another for a blower install/tune on his Mustang.

It's a frustration, since I was in Ottawa/Kingston in May! 43 hours to Ottawa, not sure if I have time to drive that again...

I'm in Manitoba, Livernois is going to ship my car to North Dakota in a couple weeks when they are done with it. It was a lot easier to drive 2 hours south and pick up the car once it's completed. I really wanted to see their shop, but couldn't justify taking time off work and driving that far. Hopefully I'll get to see a dyno video once they get to tuning it :driving:
