I just "debadged" my car with a credit card. I didn't even need a hairdryer 'cause it's SO $#^@ing HOT! Stay cool people!

When I took the rear pontiac emblem off I just used a plastic squeegee card I had in the garage. Came right off.

lol, thats bull****...i still have residue from when i debadged my "pontiac"...cant seem to get it off. Hopefully it goes away when i get the car detailed.

And yes, its *****1NG HOT outside! 3 nights in a row with about 1 hour of sleep each...i dont have a/c :(

And I feel your pain about the sleep! We don't have a/c either and I'm seriously afraid my lab is going to die! She pants so hard that when I do finally fall asleep she wakes me up. Poor baby!

I was just cruising down I-90 and it says 104 outside! To HOT! Luckily I have a window AC unit in the bedroom so we can sleep but im getting tired of this sun!

You can show up about like 50% of everybody else does (do?). When they don't have anything more pressing to do, like change the cat litter, or cut their toe nails! :laugh: We currently have 24 people registered on the Club roster. The most we've had show up in a year of get togethers is 12. And we were pleased as punch over that! We have our 1st Anniversary meet coming up in Renton the end of August. It'll be a family type event held at a park with a shelter and family members attending. That would be an excellent GTG to be your first! As far as being the Treasurer, it would be a pretty boring job! We have no dues, and have not collected a dime from anyone, yet! But if you want to show up at all the GTGs and tell everyone you're the Club Treasurer, knock yourself out! Just don't expect anyone to give you any money!:wink2::pir_flag:

If I were you I'd stay very far away from these people...there are some very, very strange people that attend these events. :drink:

If I have to go to court for any more tickets I would advise that no one support me or you might be found guilty by association! :judge:

I debadged my G8 on a 90 degree day, I was able to get 95% of the residue off just by some gentle rubbing, was totally soft. The rest I just used some bug and tar cleaner and a touch of elbow grease. I would suspect today, would just peel right off.

or you could be like r33pwrd and be in the club but never show up to any events...being on the northwest members list isnt really being part of the club...being part of the club is the showing up to events part. Very complicated system we have here with redundancy in case of catastrophic failure of primary means.

just playin...i didnt think the car club thing was for me either, but this isnt really like other car clubs...we just like to meet up somewhere, eat a bunch of food, talk, make fun of how old John is, talk about modifications and stuff, and thats about it. No hazing, no creepy rituals, no fast'n'furious ****.

Been thinking about debadging. I should go ahead since it gets about 115 overhere on an average summer day. So I guess no heating is necessary. As of right now it still is 100 degrees and its 9:00 PM.
