The force of the air box pushing on the washer fluid cap keeps popping it off.

Anyone else have this problem?

The airbox shouldn't be moving. Does your rubber liner that you put on the top edge of the airbox have a notch cut out where the back of the washer fluid lid should be? The install brings them really close but there shouldn't be tension from the airbox against the fluid cap.

The airbox isn't moving, but during installation it decided to stay put in a position that rested against the washer cap.

It's only touching the round backing of the cap that keeps it connected to the neck so you don't lose it. I could cut this piece off and the cap would stay, but I don't want to risk losing it.

had the same problem, those 2 bolts that hold the box down, push the box back towards the firewall and hold while tighting those bolts

No problem with mine. Use the stock screw and bolt to secure the box down to the factory position.

Had same problem. I removed the bracket holding the washer resevoir and elongated the hole, which pushes the neck away from the intake and towards the car front. now works fine.

I just turned the cap 90 degrees.

Just installed my Volant and I have the same problem. The airbox can't go back any further, but I'll try moving the fill tube and see if that works.

I just installed the Volant CAI, and I did the same thing too. Seems to be working so far.

i ran into the same problem when i installed my roto-fab but if you hold the washer fluid neck and push down on the cap it clicks down and stays put. i haven't had any problems since.
