If you can get the plastic piece, it looks like you could put your choice of gauges in there. I'm sure they would have replacement parts... just don't know how easy it would be to get one. I would think that you could just use the connector where the factory battery/oil gauges are plugged in...however, you would need the aftermarket gauges to have a compatible connector...What are the three gauges on the Vauxhall used to read? The stock G8 piece combines the green piece and half of each red piece (the vertical portion). The difference is that the red and the green on the VXR8 are separate at the beltline of the dash, where as the G8 is not. Maybe if there was something that could snap into the opening of the stock G8 part (where the LED oil / volt gages are)? Belo 04-15-2008, 08:22 AM John Madden skills? Oh wait I get it. haha. This being a full size vehicle i expect better than this, i dont care if they're stuffing the V8 straight from the vette ZR1(i forgot the name of that supercharged motor)!! I'd expect this from the GTO!! A better solution, use the same digital screen but make it a HIGHLY FUNCTIONAL DIC that shows EVERYTHING!! From temp outside to which door is opened to how long til on empty to avg. mpg to etc etc. Like the DIC in the GP GXP and in the Bonneville GXP! The resolution of the DIC has to be twice that of the stupid center guage and the center is twice the size. I think we need Chris White to develop a fully functional 16-bit widescreen LCD that has way better resolution and can be programmable to put stuff on, like pictures of naked women.
