Hello all this is I believe my first post, I've been a lurker for some time. My friend is a putting together a GM sports/muscle car cruise (should have a G8 GXP M6 there).

The cruise will be on Aug. 16 meeting up at Battjes Pontiac in Elkhart, IN at 4:00pm and crusing up to Paw Paw, MI to have a meal hang out and talk cars.

I know he is not a member here but I am posting this up hoping we can get a good variety of cars. So far its been posted up on ls1tech, solstice forum, digital corvettes, a local car forum and here.

Here is his original post in case I forgot anything:"Just wanted to make everyone who owns a GM sports car to be aware that I am putting together a cruise. This cruise is open to all GM sports cars, Firebird/Camaro/G8/GTO/Corvette/Solstice/Sky etc. This cruise will start in Elkhart, Indiana and end in Paw Paw, Michigan.

The cruise will be August 16th, meeting at 4pm sharp at Battjes Pontiac in Elkhart. The cruise is mostly compiled of back country roads. Most of them have a good set of curves on them, so if you have a car that is set up for drag, then this is probably not the event for you (you are more than welcome to try, but it may just not be that enjoyable). The cruise will start around 4pm at Battjes, and then we will travel to Paw Paw Michigan for dinner at Brewsters. You will have to pay for your own meal, but please let me know if you are able to attend, and what you will be driving so I can make them aware for reservations. It will take approximately 1.5 hours to get to Paw Paw, and then you are free to leave from there at your convenience."

I hope some of you can come out for it, and if there are any changes I will keep this thread up to date.
