Both my parents had been looking for a new car since January of 2008. They were chompin at the bit to get an impala SS. Until Me their loving son told them to be patient and wait for the G8 GT. Parents bought 116 of the 888's I finally got to look at it this weekend. Car is freaking Phenomenal. Conciliation I got to drive it. :burnout: well here are some pics from Cocoa Florida. heh, my mom actually said to me "Wouldn't you like something like a Cobalt SS?" I just laughed and said "Mom, I think the G8 was built for me. I'm not going to be happy till I get into one of them." Shortly thereafter I ordered my GT. I also did heavily consider the Impala SS, but the 361 horses and RWD just had my by the b*lls. Not to mention, the MSRP's when fully loaded are almost identical.

I looked at the Impala SS while waiting for word on my G8. Didn't like the exhaust sound, didn't like the seats (leather too slick and seat bottoms and back were flat like a bench seat, not a good bucket), didn't like the simple, cheap looking dash/gauges, didn't like the nose heavy front end.

I might be wrong, but it looks like Ignition Orange to me, given the lighting and slight yellow hue. :)

Edit: Oh man, this is weirdin' me out. If you stare at the center, it looks totally like red, but if you look at either end, you'd swear it's orange. :eek2:

The car is Orange. It was about 8:00pm right at sunset when i took the picture so it does kinda look red but it isnt. The car is a beast and would love to own my own to bad for college and bills LOL. well best to all ya. Provoke
