Went to look at an SS. First, a lot of people had problems with the deat. Personally, I thought the seats were awesome...more comfortable that mine. The outside looks great, love the lines. But boy do you pay for it on the inside. Blinds spots? Worst I've EVER SEEN. This is like driving one of my military vehiclles. You could hide buses behind the pillars and you have to adjust the seat just so, or you can't even see out of the windshield. I don't care for the controls, with the pod-looking HVAC, but love the old school/new school dash. Fit and finish is the best on a camaro I've seen, but given the previous ones (I've had 2) they've had a few years to get it right and not much of a standard to beat. Proven drive train, but all of it was borrowed from elsewhere. Anyway, thanks to the Transformers and brand loyalists, sales look great.

I like the look of the new Camaro too, but the view out the front and sides is a bit confining. I would imagine a person would get used to it after a while. My G8 felt unfamiliar the first few days I drove it, but after a week or so I was adjusted to it. Seeing I like the G8 so much and they aren't making them any more, the Camaro will probably be my next car, since I know I won't be able to live without a RWD V8 after owning it.

they'll soon be like the mustang and a butthole, everyone will have one.

Yeah, blindspots was one of the things I noticed looking at it. A guy at work had one and we were talking to him about it. The rear c pillar is massive. Plus, it has that "chop top" or high lines, so the windows are very short. You can't roll the window down and rest your elbow there. This is common nowadays, but it was a complaint he had. It's a possible #2 if I can't find a G8, but the commonality of them, and the tiny useless backseat don't sell it for me.

Looked at one and it seemed too small on the interior IMHO. Also the side windows are too short, it looks like the car got squashed by a brick.

Same styling cues that make them a stunner on the outside make them difficult to see out of. Pro's & cons. Not for everyone. If you want great range of view, buy a VW beetle or a Prius.

^ ^ Why? You could get a G8 instead. :slap:

The only thing i like about the camaro is the exterior looks(although still a bit strange) and the fact that its a RWD muscle car. Other than that, i prefer the G8.
