So, the wonderful idea i had to use a GXP vin to get a GXP diffuser earlier than the backorder date worked for me again.

the foglight bezels for the GXP front end are borderline impossible to get in the united states and they are backordered with absolutely no ETA. So, i asked the dealership to order me some and used a GXP vin to order them, and after a 2 week wait, i have them in my hands! WOOT!

now i dont have to wait for them to come from australia. both covers costed me around $40...if i had to get them from down under, they would have cost $65

You just live right! Anybody else and it would have been the other way around! Has the dealer asked do the install on your GXP yet? Or are they cool with the parts end of it only?

im getting them painted for 370 after tax and installing it all myself.

i also did a gloss black paint (same as used on my diffuser) on the grill insert and the fog light bezels. I think it will look pretty good :)

Question for you Brandon. With you using a GXP vin number and all to order all these extra parts. Won't that show up on the CarFax report if the GXP tries to sell the car?

Very good question, i sure hope you are not screwing the gxp owner by using his or her vin number......

i doubt it makes a difference...i've only ordered a rear diffuser and fog light bezels...not like i ordered an LS3 with the vin....now THAT would be bad!

Ya know, if you had just started with a GXP, you would have saved a bunch of $$!:wink2::pir_flag:
