For those that bought their G8 at this dealership...
How did it go?
What all did they do?
How long did it take?
Anything else you can think of, please share.
Thanks, I don't particularly like dealerships so wondering if its worth my gas and time.

I did it when I bought the GTO from them. Shouldn't take long since all they are doing is changing the oil. I think I will go Friday (since I am off) to get the free one for the G8.

Just one oil change?
I got 3 full years of it every 3k miles at my dealership. Anyways it should take under an hour. Would be best to schedule as most dealerships it seem to make it go quicker. Although for oil changes many to no require it.
it's only open during the week and between 7am - 6pm. It's not convenient enough for me to drive all the way from 290 and hwy 6 for a darn oil change.

I went this morning about 830 and I left about 1030. There were alot of cars there for oil changes so it took a while. If it wasn't free, I would just have done it myself like normal and been done alot quicker.

Wife was there in our GXP (stryker) and they told her the oil change and fixing the recall on the tire monitor would take about 5 hours, so she got an appointment for Monday morning.

I saw your wife. I was outside shooting the breeze with someone I knew and I saw her drive up and then leave a few minutes later.

Who has this kinda time? I sure don't!
I just opt for the nearest GMC dealer since almost all GMC dealers did Pontiacs as well. If you're near 1960 and 290 Beck and Masten did my oil change for 36 bucks. I used regular oil but can't beat that with a stick, cheaper than Jiffy Lube and I don't have to worry about them losing my oil plug.

I asked the boss if I could got off an hour earlier and make an attempt at my free oil change. So I left work today at 2:45 and got to GAY by 3:30. I work by the Galleria Mall. It was done by 5 and I was home by 6. Not too bad.
Nothing against that dealership but now that I got my free oil change taken care of, I hope I don't see another/any dealership(s) again until its time for a replacement. :)
