I have a couple of scratches in the clear coat that i need to buff out. any suggestions.

Get some fine cut compound...it's like a finishing compound for wheeling out paint, it works great (I think it's 3M).

Meguires make a product here isa link to it, I have used it and it works great for those things.

scratch X by Meg's is pretty good. Otherwise you need a rotary or DA polishing mate. Not recomended if you havnt done it before.

I like Mothers California Gold scratch remover. I work it in by hand. With the right pad, you may be able to use a PC if you have one.
