The worst.... I get to look at my son's red GTO (same color code) all summer.

I did the extreme customization tho.... have TireRack CUSTOM CHROME lug nuts on 19" sport wheels.

Good to see another red! Looks like a twin! I'm glad here in Jax you don't have to have a front plate. They should get rid of that rule.

Not to me. The 19's have the split 5 rims, not the solid ones like that.

Really? I have 18s on mine and they are not split, not sport package. Strange. I was told that the sport package only came with the split wheels and summer only tires. Maybe my dealer didn't know what they were talking about.

I would have gotten red or orange, but it's my wife's DD. So, she would only accept "non attention getting" colors. So, I got Mag gray. :whine:

I wasn't the biggest red fan until I saw it on a G8.

1. cops' attention
2. higher insurance rates
3. midlife crisis stigma

#2 is not true at all. If your insurance company charges you a higher rate for owning a red car you need to switch companies.

I got into an argument with my future brother-in-law about this. We called a friend that owns an All State branch and he said it absolutely does NOT change your rates based on the color of your car.

That's true. At least here in Canada I don't think they can or are allowed to do that anymore.

Besides, didn't you know, Silver cars are the most likely to get in an accident since they blend in with the colour of the road. Now you know!
