tomorrow makes a week that I have my G8 GT, black on black.
tinted the windows 35 percent and putting a front body wrap this weekend. I learned my lesson not doing this on my prior car ( infiniti g35 coupe) . my coupe had noticeable rock dents and it made me angry everytime i washed my car.

Funny, I have the same car and tomorrow I'm getting the windows done to 20% and I'm considering the wrap... I may even do the headlights?

I was considering 20% myself but I ended up going with 35 because I am going to tint my front windshield as well but only at 70%. did you price out the wrap yet? Im going with the
3M wrap priced at $800.

Your going to tint your front windshield??

Maybe you live in a state that you don't have to display Registration and Inspection sticker's, but if you tinted the entire front windshield, how does changing stickers work??

In my state you have to display the registartion and inspection as well. If your interested in tinting the front winshield then you have to laminate the inspection and reg stickers first. then tape it onto your windshield. If you have already inspected and registered your car and want to tint the windshield, you can go to a tint place and have them remove the stickers with a heat gun. you can then laminate the stickers and tape it onto the windshield. This is how it is done in the future as well. just be sure to inform the inspection center that your windshield is tinted so that they don't try scraping it off.

There's no law against windshield tinting in your state?

Its very easy to see at night. its the same as looking out the driver & passenger side window. it makes the car alot cooler when the sun is blazing. i even tinted my sun roof.

What in the world does that mean? Where or when are you from? ;)

You may see windshield blacked out in CA (I'm in orange county), but I can ashure you it's illegal.

Typically they won't pull you over for just a windshield, but if you get pulled over for something else, 100% they will ticket you additionally for it.

Well that couldn't, or legally can't do that in Texas. The inspection station HAS to affix to the sticker to the windshield, and can't just simply want it to you to be laminated.
