Don't wanna get anyone in trouble, but I know that the red G8 GT at Wade Raulerson Pontiac(only red one there right now, there is a white one also) has not only been ragged on well before break in, but has also been smoked in(windows were down, but still).

If you live in the area and looking for one, atleast get the white one, or head somewhere else.

Pissed me off that a brand spanking new car, only there for a week or two, not even sold, is being abused like this from an employee....makes me wonder how often this goes on....I'm assuming more than it should or we think. Ofcourse this is going to depend on the dealership and the employee's of it.

Yeah, I was at a dealership in S FL, they took me for a ride in a brand new Denali on the way to the drop off lot (car hadn't gone through PDI yet). I was very impressed with the handling and acceleration on that thing. What was worse is the guy was just talking to us in a normal tone about the G8, which made it obvious this was a normal thing for them.

They invited me back when the G8 made it through PDI, but I was back in Tampa at the time.

Wow. I wish there was a way to tell if the car has been abused before I buy it. Kinda makes you wonder.....a member of this site said a G8 they were trying to sell him "new" had 40 miles on it. hmmm....

If you're a non-smoker, you know you can smell cigarette smoke in the car for months, maybe years. Should be a no brainer if the car stinks. Another reason I won't accept any new car with more than single digits on the clock. If it's more than that, then it's a demo and should be discounted!

Was the smoker an employee or did an employee just let someone smoke in it during a test drive? If that white GT is still there, they may really be trying to move it (even though it's only MSRP).

I would of gone to the dealership and told them and got his ass fired!

Smoker was not the employee, it was a rider.... not on a test driver either, he was a friend of the employee.
