anyone able to get a test-drive??

Woody BPG in Elgin is happy to let you test-drive. I was there Saturday and test drove a black GT all over, and they wanted to get the grey one out of the showroom to drive as well.

Just saw a grey GT on the lot at Sullivan Pontiac yesterday.

The dealer at SW Hwy (93rd) and Cicero in Oak Lawn has a couple.

we got a red GT at Haggerty in Villa Park and a black and grey one on the way.

That's where I got a test drive yesterday.

They didn't even check to see if I had my license...I was on the lot about 90 seconds before I had keys to the car.

On the other hand, to save everyone's time...steer clear of Community Pontiac in Oak Forest. They essentially told me "Once you're ready to do business, you can test drive every single one of them." I had to buy the car before I test drove it. So, I left there, and went to Mike Haggerty's in Oak Lawn where I was very happy with my service.

Another plus for Mike Haggerty in Oak Lawn if anyone decides to buy from there: The salesman told me that the service department was pretty lenient with bringing in a car with modifications for service...take that with a grain of salt, though, I didn't actually talkk to the service department guys.
