based on what?

I would assume hes basing that off what previous LS2 blocks can handle. Id be less worried about the engine itsself and more about the rear end and the tranny.

Ah, yes, that's an important distinction. I read "not blow up" and thought he meant it about the whole drivetrain, but I guess he meant just the engine itself.

Isn't APS pushing >550 at the rear wheels on their twin turbo setup?

So 500 rwhp would be pretty good.. Does that aps turbo kit really put 550 rwhp on the stock motor???

Man I've made 738 rwhp from stock LS2 motors before with 12 lbs of boost and a Procharger D1SC... It'll be the same case on the LS3's. 700 on boost with a good tune should be fine.

I don't post much here, but read constantly. Here is some info on the APS TT system that I receievd today from a local (So Cal) dealer:

APS just allowed us to start taking orders for the G8, hence why I got to you as quickly as I could.

The specs are as follows:

Highflow intake system
twin turbochargers
blow off valve
turbine outlets
exhaust manifold adapters
remote mounted wastegate system
intercooler
turbocharger fluid sub assembly
intercooler plumbing
all hardware needed for install

The parts not included which are optional are:
3" cat back exhaust system
60lb injector upgrade
Fuel system upgrade
Tuning solution

The *base* system will take your car from 361hp to over 500hp, and the uprated system with the *add-on's* can kick the power up to over 650-675hp, a true wolf in sheep's clothing.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Brian L.

The upgraded fuel system would be needed in my opinion, along with some tranny work. Figure an approx. cost of $10k for parts, shipping, install, and tune.

I'm also looking forward to hearing more about the magna SC set up and the associated costs. I'm sure it'll be much more cost effective than the TT set up, but there are pros and cons to each system.
