I have to question the results. I sure can't tell if it's 6 seconds. What did they use to measure? Stop watches are no way of getting an accurate reading.

And is it 6.0, 6.9 ect?

Theres a difference. Speaking of which the G8 V6 weighs more and I am not sure about the gearing difference.

I am pretty sure with a tune, CAI and what ever else you can do--it could crack the 7.0 barrier and get some where into the mid 6's perhaps.

With just a proto type Magna Flow cat back exhaust system and using a G Tech meter, I pulled an average of 0-60 time of 6.5 sec. for 4 runs. And that was with T/C on and just nailing the pedal, not trying anything fancy on the launch.

So yes, I do beleive you can easily get to a 6 sec 0-60 time. My best measured 1/4 mile time was 14.8 @ 101.4 MPH with the same setup and launch.

Humm, I was under the impression that there was no tune for the V6.

I just recorded the speedo on a 0-60 run this morning. Taking out the lag before the needle started moving I did 0-60 in 7.3 seconds. Mine is stock minus the snorkel deletion. Its a rusty left over 2008 with 2200 miles on it. I turned traction control off and got a little squeel upon take off.

huh? The CTS with Direct Injection already hits 60 in 6 seconds stock...? Is this a regular V6?

There isn't a tune available our V6 however there are tunes available for other LY7 engines. Has to do with the PCM/ECM

I'm afraid not...
A customer of ours offered to bring his vehicle to our chicago office for some testing so I did a little more reasearch & found exactly what I had hoped NOT to find...the 2009 G8 V6 uses the exact same pcm AND operating system as some 2008+ holden V6's utilize 92208169 that we are getting a error at loc 0 failure. I assume thats the exact same error you probably got Chris :(
In any event we will be taking it down off of our supported page until further notice.
Hopefully once we have our hands on one of these pcm's we'll be able to make sense of why these pcm's aren't reading out.

Is there a difference between the 2008 and 2009 controller that they would only list the 2009 G8 even though they do not have a tune available yet?

i know where you can get a pcm for the v6 g8 for very cheap, does any one need it so we can crack this tune, once and for all.
