JBA needs a Pontiac G8 GT for R&D in San Diego ASAP. We will be using the vehicle to help develop new product for this specific application.

We will need the vehicle for 2 weeks as what we are working with is a bit time consuming.

Customers will be accomidated for time that we have the car with free parts once they come out of production.

Best way to get a hold of me is directly at the office either via email or directly by phone

I am guessing these will be CARB-legal headers that keep the cats in their stock locations, is that correct?

Sooo tempting...

eventually Yes they will be Carb approved - brand new items are typically Carb pending becuase of the process we go through to get the approval - especially on a new chassis platform

And these are fully tested for heat and clearance issues? I had a set of headers that kept burning through my plug wires...

We take all measures to insure the proper fitment of our products - which is why R&D can sometimes take a bit of time to get done properly - quality assurance is something we are striving to make correct from the get-go to keep the customer service issues to a minimum ....if anyone out there can assist us it will greatly help us with what we are looking to do on these cars

If you were making long tubes, I would seriously consider this, atleast just to help you out. :) The G8 has been parked for a bit, and I'm still up in the air on what turbo system to do.

I'm tempted. You guys did a great job on my 04 GTO. I really don't think I can go without a car for two weeks. That's a loooong time.

Any updates to this?

Haddad Motorsports brought his G8 to JBA where they did second stage testing. Mike picked up his car this past Friday.

According to JBA, the jigs are built and product should be in production shortly. The CARB legal headers will be 1 3/4" primaries and show a significant gain over stock. I'll let JBA pipe in with the numbers, but the gains (untuned, mind you) will be very impressive.

There will be some excellent offerings from JBA, from long-tube headers, to CARB-legal headers, to full exhaust systems. They should be in production shortly.

This is good news! The more header options the better. JBA might be a cool cost effective header system.

I'd like to see the horsepower & torque gains that JBA got!
