well ive been researching for quite a while for an exhaust set up for our g8 v6 and ive stumbled on some camero post about corsa buidlding a system for the v6 camero and the cadillac cts which almost have the same engine as ours, it does not sound to bad let me know what you think. i know our cars are a lil hp deprieved compared to the camero but do you guys think it will work and should we all contact corsa all let them know we are interested to. im ready for some mods im getting pacemakers hearders pretty soon and i heard hptuners has a tune up there sleeve, and with this exhaust we can get our g8s whipped into shape.

I like the sound of that exhaust, sounds G35ish.

yeah i kinda like it to i wonder how a pair of headers will sound on or our car, wonder if this can be applied to our car with little modifications to the flanges.

Panzer that's great and all but this thread is for people who are serious about their cars.
so hazer is this the price corsa quoted you on, what do you think we do send emails to corsa or borla to request a system for us the consumer people interested in their products , or else i don't think no one will pay to much interest on our cars.

I think we should flood them with e-mails on the G8V6 system.....I am really going crazy because the camero has more mods then our G8 and its much more newer then the G8 its time we start stepping up to the plate and start demanding aftermarket parts for out G8V6.....At least for me am tired of not having anything hardly to improve my HP. It really sucks and I bet you guys are tired to.So what do you say lets start e-mailing Corsa and Borla and maybe we get something out of it!!!!!!!!

i just e-mailed corsa and borla about out V6 exhaust system ....lets see what they say, I just dont think its fair that they leave the V6 out of everything. Its a G8 and they should make aftermarket performance parts for both the V8 and the V6. Especially on the exhaust that's a big thing with me i mean with out sound you dont have a performance car you just have a very nice looking car lol. :judge:

yeah the varex or x force exhaust will sound good but im scared of getting it cause of the drone some Aussies claim it has. BUT FOR THE CORSA EXHAUST they claim it has zero drone and any speed which i believe due to hearing other board members comments on their v8.

well for the VAREX/XForce.. i saw a way to eliminate 99% drone on this forum.. cant we weld onto one of these exahusts?

That would be nice. The thing is, whats the rest of the exhaust system look like. Is it just an axle back or cat-back on the Camaro? IF we just bolted on a set of muffs it probably wouldn't sound the same as the Camaro if its a cat-back.

i wrote to them the other day and if those who are really interested would do the same maybe we can get them to build something for our cars. you can sample this if you like, "I am a proud V6 Pontiac G8 owner who is very interested in seeing an exhaust set up for our v6 category. p.s. In the interest of a sale - what are the chances of using the Single Split Rear Exit (Part#11776). It appears that adapting it shouldn't be difficult. The two cars are built from the same chassis. Or is the difference in the the two motors so great, that you would not recommend it in any way?
